My poulan weedeater starts easy but only runs a few seconds and shuts off. Replaced the fuel tank, fuel line and spark plut.

When this happens; unscrew the spark plug and see it's condition. It can be any color, it can be wet which indicates a carburetor needs adjustment. Also the compression of the cylinder needs to be measured.

How to start

Full choke until it tries to start, half choke until it does, and once it's running, open the choke fully and wait a few seconds for it to warm up before using it, as well as 15-20 seconds to let it cool down before shutting it off so as not to warp any metal parts of the engine

On the fuel rail will be a small round valve type thing with a rubber vacumn tube running to it ,check the tube and make sure its connected as this will stop it from running as it opens the fuel rail for the injectors

Stihl weed eater runs 2min. then stop

Stihl weedeater was running and stopped suddenly. Put in a new fuel filter and cleaner air filter with soap and water. Checked spark plug and it appeared fine. Started the weedeater, ran for a second or so and stopped. Spark plug wasn't gas fouled. Could it be the carburetor needing new diaphram gasket and spring.

My sv-30 blower will not continue running.

Have this problem currently with my WeedEater SV30, and I suspect the filter fuel line has rotted off where it passes into the tank. Had exactly this problem with my cheepy trimmer and was able to replace the fuel line. Hopefully I can do the same with my SV30 blower. Seems like the gas line material does not like the ethenol in today's gasoline...
