No pictures?? The first time I used it, I took 20 pictures, downloaded the software, pluged the camera in and when I went to download my pictures it told me there were no pictures. The camera says "00" for pictures, but now it won't even take new pictures. What's the deal?

I would like to know if the pictures that you take can be seen on the camera after you take them incase you want to delete them you cannot see them. Also I got the disc with it & installed it on my computer & I got a booklet with it.

This sounds like the same problem I had. I could not find a solution without losing the photos that I had already taken. Try reseting the camera. In the menu clear all the photos out of memory. If the picture counter doesn't reset you may need to physically kill power to the camera (by pulling out the batteries) this will delete any photos in memory and reset the photo counter. Once you are sure that the memory is empty. Try taking some test photos and reconecting to the computer to see if the software sees the new photos. You may want to delete and reload the camera drivers before you connecting the camera.

Take no more pics until you've recovered your photos, take the card out of the camera. This is to reduce the chance of you overwriting some of your "lost" photos. There are many good freeware photo recovery software options that may help you recover your photos. This article reviews and outlines several of the better ones. Now after you've recovered your photos, consider formatting the card in the camera to prevent this from happening again.

The other programs on your computer don't work with your camera. You need to download the files to either your desktop or a folder you create on your desktop. Then, try opening them.

doesn't waste batteries, much quicker, needs no software to work...

Card Error

Take no more pics until you've recovered the photos, take the card out of the camera. Here's some freeware photo recovery software that should be what you're looking for.

You will need to use a flash card reader with this software. If you don't have one, get one, they're very inexpensive.

The reason this occurred is that you likely never formatted the card. The card will work fine in the beginning but eventually will corrupt. AFTER you've recovered the photos, format the card in your camera to prevent this from happening again (dig out that instruction manual to figure out how). Keep in mind formatting will also totally erase your card, so again only do this after you've recovered the photos.

Camera-computer interface has been a long standing problem easily solved by buying a card reader ($15-20). Insert SD card into reader, plug reader into USB port and download using Picasa3 (free software from Google) or other image software (PhotoShop etc.)

Hp 945 frosen with red light on

I posted on July 16 with this flashing problem and played around and got mine working again.
Originally I would charge through the docking port. What I did was pull the charged rechargable batteries out of the camera and took the charging cable from the docking station and pluged it directly into the port on the side of the camera. The camera started working again. Then while the charging cable was pluged into the camera, I reinstalled the rechargable batteries. After installing the batteries I unpluged the charging cable and the camera still works. I have shot and downloaded from the camera pictures with no more problems. Use the docking for downloading pictures and the side port on the camera for recharging the batteries.
I do not know if this has anything to do with the original problem but I did not have any problems with this camera until I placed it on the docking station with non-rechargible batteries.
Hope this helps.
