  • An Error has occurred:
If you are getting the specific message, "An error has occurred. Turn the Power Off and check the Nintendo GameCube Instruction Booklet for further instructions." This means there may be an internal problem with the system.
    1. Check Individual Game Disc problems or Multiple Game Disc problems (depending upon how many games exhibit the problem) to see if the cause of the message is a dirty or damaged disc.
    2. If the disc appears fine or works properly in another system, this means there is an internal problem with the system. A repair will need to be set up. Please use our convenient repair options.

Wii unable to read gamecube disc... :(

If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem is with either Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide, that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. It also gives information on fixing many Wii Related Problems, so its a kind of Wii Problems Reference Fix Guide

    Gamecube game trouble

Freezes up? Does it make a flatline sounding noise when it does so? Mine does that too on sertain games, except for NBA Live or Madden, when the game freezes it tells me to turn of the gamecube and refer to the instructions manual, and i do so, but what does it tell me to do? it tells me to call Nintendos hotline for help. So i stoped playing for a while and when i started playing i didn't have any more problems. I think it was because i was over playing it, and everytime i had to go somewhere and would be gone for a few hours, and i was in the middle of something, i would just pause it and leave it on. But your problem sounds like the problem i had with my dreamcast, when i played NFL2k, and i chose to play in tampa bay, the game would freeze the at the last second second of loading. anyway my dreamcast was a used one, if your gamecube is not used, then you should call nintendo to see what you can do. Unless you beat on your system, you know like if youdie, you immedetly slam the controler down, and start hitting your fist on the system. i would never do that, (the controller yes, but the system, Hell no) but i knew someone who did that all the time.
