Question about Philips GoGear HDD1830 MP3 Player
It shows the connection on my screen but windows says it isn't connected. I've had this problem before and have gotten it replaced. I have no idea what's wrong. My player has frozen in the past as well. My dad reset the player but now I have no songs and can't get any on it. It makes me sad. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me.
Try uninstalling the driver and software on the computer. Make sure that the unit is uninstalled completely. Re-start the computer and re-install it back according to the instructions supplied.
If it still does not work, I am very sure it is defective.
I would change it for another manufacture type if it is having persistant problems. Have you considered an original Apple, or a Sony, or a Panasonic? These are well supported big brand name units, and I have seen very few faults with these.
