Hi, You problem is more than likely a faulty battery or even the charger, you'll need to get these tested to find out what is causing the problem. It is known that the batteries tend to stop charging and need replacing after so long. If you take it into any computer shop they will tell you what is causing the problem as they will have a battery to try, this will tell you if it is the battery or the charger that is at fault. They won't charge you for this as it will take a matter of seconds to test the battery. Let me know if you need further assistance, remember to always let the battery go totally flat at least once a month and then do a full charge as this will prolong the life of your battery and keep your battery lasting for the maximum time. It is recommened to do this with any electrical equipment that works off a re-chargeable battery, or else it cause bad cells & stops it from being charged.
