SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to enable On-Screen Keyboard in Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx)

Turning on the on-screen keyboard in Ubuntu Linux is a little more complicated than it should be. These tips should work for any version of Ubuntu within the last few years, but I'm using Ubuntu version 10.04 Lucid Lynx.

The simple way to enable the on-screen keyboard is to run the program from the Terminal:
$ onboard

However, if you cannot use the keyboard, you cannot type. On to method 2:

  • Go to System -> Preferences -> Assistive Technologies in the Ubuntu menu.
  • Select "Enable assistive technologies".
  • Click "Preferred Applications".
  • Under Mobility, select onBoard from the drop-down menu. Check "Run at start".
  • Log out and log back in, and the On Screen Keyboard is now enabled.

If you want to enable the on-screen keyboard at the login screen, please read my VMware Lucid Lynx guide, it's explained as part of that tutorial.

Toshiba satellite M45-S169 won't boot ubuntu from DVD

Your really pushing the lower minimum requirement limits if you're trying to use Ubuntu 11 or Ubuntu 12. Especially with your on-board graphics chip which borrows system ram.

Try Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS (Lucid Lynx) instead.

Go Here and download the 1st link on the list under Desktop CD:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/lucid/

OR...

Here is a direct link to the ISO file you need to download and then burn to a CD:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/lucid/ubuntu-10.04.4-desktop-i386.iso

If you don't have Software for burning iso's to CD's then download and install this totally FREE CD Burning program:

Can't surf web or download in lucid lynx

You have to make a setting of the network through a terminal and it will work fine after this is being done properly. This is happens due to unconfigured setting in the network adapters. You can also directly make setting with the nework adapters settings. Select the proper modem and connections.

Scan No Longer Working

Do you have Verizon? The problem you are having is a long standing issue with Verizon. It was recently corrected for some of us. Certain TV's could not receive QAM channels, because of a Verizon caused issue. They blamed the TV manufacturer and the manufacturer blamed Verizon.
My TV's are Sharps, but I recall Vizio as also having the problem. Although it was fixed in my area MA, and in the Philadelphia area, other areas are still reporting the issue My problem disappeared shortly after the recent channel realignment.
Here is a link to a lengthy thread on the subject at the AVS forum;
