I have the kenmoe Oasis he and out of no where this machine wont work. You push the start button and select and that is it 'Nothing" you have to unplug it and start over again but the same thing will happen "nothing" and plus the water wont drain! I feel this is a rip off machine. house wife
MOST KENMORE WASHERS HAVE A COUPLER BEWEEN THE MOTOR AND THE TRANSMISSION AND THEY BREAK ALOT,YOU CAN TIP IT OVER OR REMOVE THE FRONT PANEL AND SEE IF IT HAS BROKEN,LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU FIND-MIKE
Probably something caught inthe pump. Will have to remove pump and take obstruction out. Only other thing I can think of is the pump ran tight and would have to be replaced
Kenmore pressure switches are generally adjustable, the spring inside stretches over time, there is an adjustment screw or nut, clockwise raise, anticlockwise lower, water level.
test of the pressure switch outside of operation is difficult and indecisive,
switch will still throw when you blow in it,
a foot of water height difference is only 0.4psi so a fractional misadjustment of the switch out of the box, or the internal spring stretching just a little, and the water runs over.
i assume that the warer is turn on at the warer valves if so then do you have voltage at the water valve if not then water pressure switch could be bad or main control board could be bad
