Foxconn nt-a3700 does not power up

restart your computer repeatedly tapping the f8 key to enter safe mode while the screen is black once in safe mode where the only things working will be your keyboard and mouse allowing you to attempt to repair your computer

you could select the option start at last known configuration that worked this will tell you if and what file has been corrupted or missing then you will know if its a hardware issue
then select restart if the problem still persists f8 back into safe mode you might need to select your operating system to load into safe mode

click start control panel administration tools computer management in the left panel events + to expand then system you will see all errors in right panel right click select properties this will tell you what has occurred and the time it occurred

you might use the system restore to restore your system to an earlier time click start all programs accessories system tools you should see your system restore option if it is a hardware issue the system restore might not work
hope this helps

Ok I downloaded some torrents and I didn't know at the the time but also some free ware. Well after my computer started down loading Trojans n viruses I started deleting all of my games and all files to...

Greetings!

Please go to your Start Button and left click once. If using Vista or W7 a small search box will appear at very bottom left under all the program stuff.

Type in "System Restore"

Please follow the prompts, going SLOWLY, and make sure you arrive at the place where you can "Restore to Factory Settings". If your computer has a recovery partition and has not been reformatted since delivery, you can find it and start over.

If my instructions have not produced the desired result, please settle into a place of calmness and use this post of mine to formulate different combinations of words in search boxes in your browser.

Soon enough, you'll find the path to original factory settings and get a new start.

Kind Regards,

Selk

Besides keeping your cache clean, what else makes the computer run faster? IE: prosessor, ram, ??

Well a number of things will ensure your system runs fast however like most things your PC will need a MOT every 2 years i.e. a full reformat

However you can do the following to ensure your PC does not slow down

1) Dont visit any sites you are suspicious off as they will install malware and viruses will slow your PC right down
2) Dont install unecessary programs - only install prgrams you will use time and time again as others will install themselves in startup thus slowing down your startup times
3) You can install more RAM this will speed up the applications- ensure you get the right RAM for your motherboard and is installed by a professional
4) install a good free firewall and antivirus software like AVG or commodo to ensure you dont accumulate bad data

Hope this helps

Aopen barebone XC Cube does not start

Due to the fact that the clock is working on the front panel I would say you at least have some power
1. If your power supply has 110/220 selection on the back make sure that is set to the appropriate
setting.
2. Check to make sure the power is attached to the board right due to you changing the power supply
make sure that the if the board requires the additional 4 pin and or any others from the power supply
that they also are plugged into the mother board!
3. Check to make sure your switches from the power switch/ reset switch / hd lite / etc are all
properly in the right spot and in the right direction observing positive and negative orientation.

If all these are done and still nothing happens and the fan on the power supply is working you still can due further testing on the power supply using a multimeter and checking that the connectors to the board are functioning properly, if they are and you have done all the above things two possibilities remain, one your processor is installed wrong or not working or as you thought, your board could be malfunctioning..

I forgot to mention that you also have to make sure that the fan's are also plugged into the board properly (cpu fan, case fan, etc) this can also disable your computer from starting!

Note: I am going by the information above, if your computer made a sound or anything else please let me know!

Hope this helps

No sound

The problem lies withn windows. I would reccomend performing a system restore to a date when it was working. While you wont lose your documents, emails etc, it will uninstall any apps you have installed since that date.

Two weeks ago my computer creashed, lost everything,a technican has reprogramed most stuff,my printer does'nt print from the computer, its all hooked up,the technican gave me a Epson stylus C20 Series...

I have no clue why he would give you an Epson disc. Anyway, you can download your driver from HP's Site.

1. Unplug USB cable to printer, then from Control Panel > Printers delete any printers there.
2. Reboot
3. Install new drivers from the site above.
4. Plug USB cable back in.

Enjoy

PROBLEM KEEPIN MBOX 2 CONNECTION TO MAC LAPTOP

I have the same problem. Usually it will work when I reboot the computer. The trick is once you get the mbox working with the phantom power on, is to not turn off the phantom power during your session; the duration in which you use the mbox at that given time before shutting it down. You can switch the phantom off and it won't shut off, but if you press it back on, it may and for me more than half of the time it does shut off. I have a new problem with my mbox. I can't hear play back, even though I can hear sound from either input. Any suggestions?
