Hi. I hvae a LG open a FLATRON M227WDP Monitor T.V. It worked perfectly fine for the first few days. But once after I turn it on, the screen is white with a message of V3.08.0 is been displayed and non of the buttons on the T.V. or the remote of the T.V. works. and the only way of turning it off or on is to unplug or plug the T.V. from electricity.

It could be the domestic maintenance problem keep your monitor away from moisture and other physical damage it will make your monitor perfect as new working...
Well as you have only had it a few months, SEND IT BACK ( LG does not mean Lifes Good, in the trade we say LG=Lotta Garbage) There have been quite a few chip failures in this model, It should be recalled. Do a warranty call and get it replaced.
Same problem started happening two days ago and ever since. I called LG and the product falls under a 3yr product warranty according to them (from my original purchase date of January 20, 2007). They will send packing slips to me so I can send the defective unit back to LG. I was told I am eligible for a replacement monitor - which will be shipped to me within 10 to 14 days (consecutive days, not business) - although I'm not sure what I'm being sent in return. My suspicion is that this monitor issue is a known issue by LG and they are quietly replacing the unit to those who follow through by calling CS.
Tips: Have your original purchase date on hand (in the form of a receipt) just in case they want proof of purchase.
The monitor was broken. I returned it to the vendor for replacement. Your tech did not seem to feel it was a monitor problem and only focused on the video card - although I asked him directly regarding his confidence of it being a videio card problem versus being a monitor problem.
It is often difficult to diagnose/repair an intermittent problem. It could very well be any of the circuitry and components inside: video interface, CCF Lamp, inverter, power supply. All of which would require that you open the casing and poke around inside and that you be familiar with electronic components & circuitries, soldering and use of a continuity/volt meter.
Doing so would void your warranty (being just a couple of months). Perhaps your best bet would be to seek repair/replacement of the monitor from your dealer/supplier and describe fully the nature and frequency of the incidence. It may be that when they test it will check good.
Should you choose to open it up yourself, post back.
