My dryer vibrates loudly, wondering if it is a bearing problem, and if so, is it worth getting fixed?

Vibrations and such noises are definitely caused by something out of balance, or not spinning truly. some maytags were plagued with wimpy blower wheels which when worn made horrendous noises. without a complete model number i am at a loss as to where to point you though.
enjoy, have fun.

What is cause of loud vibration noise

Hi,
In most cases, vibration sounds come from which ever helps the drum to spin with no resistance, In most cases those would be drum support wheels or bearings depending on the model.
In some rare cases, blower or belt pulley could also cause similar symptoms.

GE Dryer DBVH512EF0WW vibrates/shudders excessively. Particularly with the top on. I've replaced the front top bearing, drum slides and felt seal. What is my problem?

The only thing I can think of is if you have plastic inserts built into the drum then maybe you installed the wrong kit in the dryer.
Their are basically 2 styles of GE dryers. Those that have a steel drum and a bearing with glides on the front panel and those that have felt on the front panel and the plastic glides mounted in the drum itself.

Kenmore dryer noise

It will be either a worn bearing or belt tensioner, the only way to diagnose further is to dismantle the dryer and check each bearing individually.

Beko DRCS68 condensor dryer is making loud vibration noises

hi there......when you replaced the drive belt you most likley disturbed the drum on its bearing seats (small plastic curved units) or indeed knocked 1 out altogeathrer...this would account for the loud bearing or metallic sound...it may also be the rear bearing these tend to eventually rund dry and fail..
