What do you mean by won't play ps3? Do you mean you aren't getting any video or audio from you ps3 to the tv? First off what input are you trying to use? Have you ever had the ps3 working on this tv? Once I have more information I can assist you further. Usually trying a different type of input is the first thing to try but I will wait for more info to narrow down the possibilities.
Thank you,
Lee

I plugged it in to the HDMI input and the picture is just fuzzy at best.

That could be the cable or the settings. I would recommend hooking it up through the component inputs. You can get the same quality and is virtually plug and play.
    Thanks,

It is possible. Have you tried changing the output resolution of the ps3? See if that helps. I would still recommend going with component as you will get the same quality.
    Thanks,

If your discs wont spin, I would contact sony if your PS3 is still under warranty. If not than buy a new PS3 or start buying your games digitally to play them with no disc.

When playing Red Dead Redemption the game freezes

If a game freezes, then the problem is usually due to the PS3 overheating. The PS3 needs good airflow through the vents so make sure that you don't put it in a corner or in a place where the hot air won't linger around for long like near a window. Also, don't play for too long; give your PS3 a break every once in a while (1 minute breaks don't count) :)

My new homefront ps3 will play on my friends playstation but will not play on mine help

If it won't play online what you'll need to do is set a static ip in your router for your ps3 and then open ports TCP Ports: 80, 443, 5223, and 10070 - 10080
UDP Ports: 3478, 3479, 3658, and 10070
(you'll need to contact your router about that)

If it won't play AT ALL follow these steps ( http://us.playstation.com/support/answer/index.htm?a_id=1488 ) to get into safe mode and select option 3.

If NONE of your PS3 games work and NONE of your blu rays work, your blu ray drive is fried and you'll need to get it fixed. You can go to: us.playstation.com/getservice to get it fixed.

PS3 WON'T PLAY BLU-RAY DISCS

The problem is all in the settings. You probably have a 1080i television that cannot display in 1080p. To fix this go to the main menu and go to:

Settings:

Video Settings

Then Blu Ray Disc and make it turn the Display BD in 1080p 24hz or whatever. Once you do that, start the Blu Ray Disc again, and you should be able to watch it. This all happened because your tv doesn't display 1080p.

Hope this helps!
