SOURCE: Jenn-Air stove making clicking sounds

not concernig, but itll drive you batty. check your outlet that the oven is plugged into for proper polarity. theres a plug in tool availabel at the home depot about 5 bucks. itll tell you if you have any problems with outlet. other then that you con ck the electrodes themselves for foriegn matter stuck to them try cleaning them off with an emory cloth( womans nailfile will work)
def not dangerous, but will eventually drive you nuts

SOURCE: gas range igniters won't shut off

The problem that you're describing is commonly associated with the spark modulator. It usually occurs after a spill or when the ignitor electrodes have remained wet after a cleaning. If after a day or two it continues to spark intermittently on its own, then the only recourse would be to replace the module. Hope this helps,,,, Bill

SOURCE: With the Jenn-Air PRG4810NP (Natural Gas), is

Conversion is usually accomplished by flipping the regulator cap around. Nat side is hollow and LP is solid to hold the regulator open. The oven orifices are adjustable and the surface burnres can be either adjustable or have LP replacements.

Does any know where I can find the Owners Manual and Wiring Diagram for the Jenn-Air 720-0061 LP Grill

the manual is here. Page 22 and 23 show the spark igniter. I really doesn't have 'wiring' to need a diagram.

How does my gas grill ignite

Unscrew the gas igniter button and insert the battery positive end upwards. Then screw the button cap back on. A tip, don't let it rain onto that button. Torrential rain stopped my igniter working for 6 months.

Is there a conversion kit for Jenn-Air Model No: 720-0061-LP to convert from LP to Natural Gas?

Matt, I am not aware of one. Nor, whether it's approved or not, by the manufacturer, Nexgril.
My best advice is to contact their Customer Support Dept @ 800-913-8999

Keep in mind, it you are able to convert it, the gill will no longer get as hot as it does with propane.
Propane burns hotter than Natural Gas in an outdoor environment.

I hope this helps you and Happy Grilling!! Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Need help re: replacing igniter of Gas Grill

If it is like mine, you have to remove the front control panel on the side burner and the front of the side shelf. Remove four screws behind the fronts below the shelf/burner and then you will have access to the screws to remove the main control panel. Be careful with all the hoses and gas piping. If the electronic ignitor is melted like mine(i am on #3), you have more problems than the igniter. I had to replace the burners and the gas valves to stop the flame from "backing up" into this area. Hope this helps.

Flare behind temperature knobs on jenn-air gas grill

This seems to be a problem for most Jenn-Air users. The burners are defective, rusted or clogged and allowing the flame to "back up." You most likely have a melted electronic ignitor as well as gas valve damage. The new burners that I received this week for my model 720-0061-LP are 1/2 inch shorter than previous versions. Time will tell if this fixed the problem. I would call Nexgrill and get all new burners and inspect the gas valve area for damage. Since 2004, I am on my 5th set of burners, glad they were free since I have a lifetime warranty on my model.

Grill jenn-air will not heat past 100 degrees

You need to pull the burners out and scrub open the side feedholes on the burner. These ususally clog up over time reducing the heat available for cooking. Also, sometimes the Gas regulator goes bad over time when left outside for a year or two. A bad regulator will put out less gas as it fails closed.

Jenn air propane grill conversion

It is inconceivable to me that large manufacturers like Jenn-Air and Nexgrill can jointly make and sell an expensive grill and then completely abandon the consumer. I purchased an Jenn-Air 740-0142 LPG and like so many wanted to convert to nautural gas which requires a larger gas orifice. I spent a month on the internet and phone calling Jenn-Air and finally Nexgrill who actually manufactured the unit in China. The Jenn-Air and Nexgrill serial numbers are the same. the 740 prefix is LPG and the 750 prefix is natural gas. After three calls to Nexgrill I found a manager who actually acknowledged making Jenn-Air but declined selling me parts for it as I believe they have product liability concerns. I call back as a Nexgrill owner and finally ordered natural gas orifices at $10.00 each. The shipment never showed up. Calling back again I was told that they really didnt really have any orifices in stock but could sell me the entire replacement gas valve for $28.00 which I purchased. The valves actually arrived on the shipping receipt was from The Grill Services in City of Industry 909-718-6128 www.grillservices.com . Part number 750-0141/142/593/594.

Forget about pirates in Somalia... we have them right here. Shame on you Jenn-Air and Nextgrill.
