Have you tried the pen drive in the other ports? Some times ports also will do malfunction. Kingston will do a very good customer service. To get your pendrive problem corrected and to get a brand new one for your pendrive, go to kingston service center and give your drive. Within one week they will replace you with a brand new drive as a replacement for your drive. But taking backup of the pendrive will not be done by them, That we have to do it manually!
