Question about Electrolux Epic 6500 Vacuum
First check the reset button on the head . next connect the hose directly to the head if its a cannister make sure your hose switch is on . if your mechanically inclined remove the screws on the bottom plate and remove the top with the hose disconnected directly connect the reset switch wires with a small piece of electrical tape connect your hose turn the vac on if it comes on either a buy a new reset switch b save money skin the wires and connect them . if that doesn't work go to the nozzel motor with the hose disconnected cut the lead wires leave plenty of slack connect an old electrical cord to the two terminals plug into a 110 outlet if it comes on your problem is in your elbow neck about $19.00 it is the part that your wands connect to if the motor doesn't come on then its your pn motor and it will need replaced $34-$50 dollars . connect everything back the way it was using correct sized wire taps and ul approved electrical tape put your screws in a safe place they are easy to use parts are avaiable on ebay cheaper than anywhere else . if you feel this job is too big contact me and i will repair it for $20.00 plus parts
