Swingline Optima 45 Stapler - cannot slide tray back in stapler, no staples jamming

Sometimes the rectangular insert where the staples sit on, gets dislodged. On the underside of channel insert is a spring and when correctly seated is in between the tabs of the bottom piece. If the insert isn't in between the tabs, it sits too high and makes it difficult to open and close the staple tray. The staples will jam.

Staple is jammed

Open the area where more staples are inserted, remove the staples, then find the jammed staple. You'll probably have to wrench it out with pliers. Then insert the good staples and try again.

How do I reload staples into my Xerox WorkCentre 7530?

You did not indicate finisher? Xerox MFPs' come with the most finishing options of any manufacturer.... I included instructions for all of them below. Enjoy!
Solution : Load Staples in the Professional Finisher With Booklet Maker The stapler in the booklet maker uses two Staple Cartridges labeled R2 and R3. Booklet stapling requires that both Staple Cartridges be free of jammed staples.
WARNING: Do not perform this procedure when the printer is copying or printing.
  1. Make sure the printer has stopped copying or printing.
  2. Open the Finisher Front Door.

  3. Squeeze the orange R2 and R3 levers together and pull the Staple Cartridge unit out of the Finisher until it stops.

NOTE: The Staple Cartridge unit does not detach from the Finisher.

  4. Grasp the orange tabs on both sides of the Staple Cartridge and lift the cartridge out of the Staple Cartridge Unit.

I cannot insert the retainer spring into the stapler 2025, with or without staples. What am I doing wrong? Arrow fastener model T2025. I played with the front piece for different sizes of staples; since...

make sure the rod inside the spring is not bent. the slightest bend can cause the retainer or push up loader to act goofy. Also make sure the u shaped(a square U) that makes contact with the staples isn't warped or out of shape. and if staple gun was ever dropped the whole track it slides down could be pinching down too much creating resistance. if so, pry open gently wherever you see that it might be getting tighter. If a visual inspection is not obvious try slowing sliding the spring loader into staple gun's staple track and once resistance is felt start to gently work open with a pair of needle nose pliers, insert closed the use two hands pull pliers open to spread the track apart. . Or any method you find easier that would create the same effect. be inventive and use commonsense always. before u know it you will be MacGyver. LOL Hope this helps, and good luck.

Stapler is not dispensing staples after new cartridge is inserted. Can you help?

Remove the staple cartridge, look into the cartrige area, are there any stray staples in this area, if so remove them, cycle the unit a couple of times without the cartrige in place, check the output end, any stray staples here? re assemble making sure you pull the first row ow staples even with the nozzle of the cartrige.

Hope this helps

Panosonic Electric Stapler does not staple paper!

It could be either jammed up with staples or the spring mechanism is shoddy.

Replacing staples

1-Open door in finisher ( where paper is delivered and stapled)
or push finisher away from copier and look on the right rear
2- remove the old unit by lifting up and out ( should be a small white box
3-before inserting new staples remove the band surrounding it : Careful not to drop, if you do you must make sure they face the right way in the box !!!!!!
4-insert in stapler
