Mcdevito75 here, The Internal workings of all watches and clocks, Quartz and mechanical is called the movement. You may have a weak or even dead battery, even if the battery is new. If you"ve dropped your watch, got it water logged, you could have hurt the Quartz movement. It'll take special equiptment to check the Quartz movement to see if it"s burned out.
