Question about ASUS P5VDC-MX Motherboard
Hello try to download a manual from Asus:
Select manual and click on global for download.
You need a pdf reader to read content.
Here is only drivers for windows vista but they sometimes work on windows 7.
If you are useing a IDE drive there is slow the installation can stop.
Try with a satadrive and set up the bios for it. Then it shoud work.
If you can update the bios to the latest version before you continue
you might have to install xp again or borrow a drive with xp installed.
If you have no experience upgradeing the bios let a expert do the job.

Try 2 using win7 with usb flashdisk win7 instalation, first n try 2 upgrade ur mobo driver at asus sites..its all free..
or after u download all upgrade of ur mobo driver in win xp try 2 upgrade ur os 2 win7..
dont forget 2 backup all of ur "working" driver with backup driver utility..

Uodate the P5VDC-MX BIOS to version 0806. Download it from ASUS official site.
