How to set up wireless printing with disc

Here are the minimum details needed to answer this kind of question:

1. Operating System :
Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista?
2. Printer make/model:
(this is important to determine the wireless properties of printer)
3. Network Connection:
(is the laptop connected to the same network as the printer)

If you are working with a new printer (see item 2) and you have a network on which you have your notebook connected, there are so many possible ways to connect the printer to the network that it's hard to say.

If you are working with an established printer that has wireless services running, you may need to know either the Network Name of the printer or the IP Address of the printer.

Your best bet is to make use of hp's extensive Wireless Printing Center (see link below).

How to make a printer wireless

Plug into a wireless print server. If your printer has a USB port, you can plug in a wireless print server, a small box into which you can connect your printer. The advantage of investing in a print server is that you don't have to connect the printer to a PC, which means you can use your laptop and print anywhere in your home.
.tmnAdsenseContainer{margin-bottom:10px;} We found plenty of print servers in the $50 range on Newegg.com, although many of the models cost closer to $75 or $100). Before you buy, make sure the print server is compatible with your printer (the printer's written materials are less likely to specify compatibility with print servers).
During the setup, you will have to plug the printer into the printer server, and connect that to the router using an Ethernet cable. Meanwhile, you'll have to install software on your computer and configure the connection, as you would when setting up a router.

I am having problems connecting to a lexmark X6570 printer using wifi on my laptop, I have windows 7 64 bits

You may need to reset the printer's wireless network adapter first before re-installing the printer driver. Here's How to Reset the Network Settings on the X6570 Series AIO Inkjet Printer.
Also, the printer driver cjb6500en is for 32-bit operating systems. Please visit the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/Iwhh8m to download and install the correct printer driver for a Windows 7 64-bit ( cjq6500en.exe ). Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.

I cant print wireless on my hp Laserjet 1015 Printer. I have it like a Directed connected shared printer to my PC. By the way, the operative system of my pc in which i have it connected is XP, and it does...

Hi,

With that, you need to install the printer into your windows 7 computer and windows vista computer.
Even though the printer is installed into your windows xp computer wirelessly and set up as shared printer, you still need to install it on to your other computer because you need to install the driver and other printer's software to maximize the features.

Since the printer is already connected, you just need to run the appropriate installation package, the one that's compatible with your Operating System, and install it via Wireless or via Network. For the correct installation package. You can download it from the hp website and check the Support and Driver's section.

Cheers!

Connecting sharp AR 5316 to a wireless network for office use

With great difficulty.... Seriously though, you MUST get the driver for each operating system, Install each Driver on each machine, and then simply connect each computer to the printer as a "Networked" printer. I may be efficacious, to have all drivers on every PC, all in same Directory so that each is available to each other...Right ALL machines, must be in same WORKGROUP, ALL have a password, The printer MUST have a name, Install the drivers as Administrator.

I've recently attached my iP6700D to my home network. 2 different Laptop computers can access it and successfully print from it. One , a Lenovo is using Windows 7 OS operating system, while the other...

I would highly suggest moving both computers on to the same operating system having two different os on a network is always more of a head ache than its worth for the most part however if you have you heart set on this particular configuration you need to go into your printer setting before each print session to change the configuration as from what I see the printer does not have any additional software to help it understand the two different print modes. If for some reason neither printers are working atm I would suggest making sure all connections are hooked up properly and than try hooking the printer up directly to each computer to find out where the problem lies also before doing this visit this website to ensure all your drivers are up to date is has a link to the most recent driver also make sure you download and install the right drivers as per OS requirement ie. windows 7 vista xp

hope this helps
please leave feedback
thanks

Click the second option- Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.

The computer will search for available printer and reflect it on the screen.
