Can not print, empty toner


Replace empty toner with new one or with refill cartridge toner. Before installing it, clean the inside with a vacuum cleaner so that dust and toner particle spread inside will gone.

I Have canon xerox machine i want connect to my computer


if u have driver cd then download the driver & install it ur computer plz connect power cord to main supply & USB to computer if port conflict happens then plz release older device n add canon device

note canon & xerox are seperate company plz use copy word eg. canon copier,canon printer,canon fax machine etc

Black line on the page when printing fax or making copies


The lines may come from the toner/ drum cartridge. Try stopping the job by opening a cover, and see if the defect exists before it reaches the fuser.
The fuser for the F110 is PN 126N00235
The toner/ drum unit is 013R00605 (several alternate numbers exist)
And it could also be the transfer roller 022N02107

Scanner locked message on display. Will not copy


Check if the transit lock may have engaged due to movement. These locks prevent the scanner from moving while moving the devices during shipping. They sometimes engage by themselves.

The xerox faxcentre 2218 says no paper add paper even though there is paper in it. How can I clear that?


There is a black plastic actuator that is located above the paper tray, Pull the tray out and see if it is stuck or fell out. If that is in place, then the low paper sensor has failed.

The Xerox Faxcentre 2218 squeeks when receiving and paper is feeding through and is driving my secretary nuts. How do we stop the squeeking?


Most likely it is coming from the fuser bushing. Leave the machine off overnight to cool. Open the right side door. You will see an assembly with a yellow sticker on it, it is a caution HOT warning. That is the fuser. There are 4 phillips screws holding the fuser in and one plug. Take those 4 silver phillips out, disconnect the one white wire. Lay the fuser facing the front ( as removed) towards you. You will now see 2 screws on the fuser. Remove and unfold the fuser. Not the ends of the charcoal gray, or black roller. There are 2 fiber bushings on the ends, they are beige in color. I would suggest taking some alcohol and flushing those out, then letting it set for a few minutes to day out. If you can get a high temperature lubricant, lightly apply some in the busking area, On the 2218 you have to apply it lightly because you dont want it seeping into the contact area of the heat roll. I suspect that is the squeak. it is very common on that fuser on that model. You can replace the fuser, but thats a pricey way to get rid of a squeak.

Cannot clear the "Toner Low" message after toner cartridge replaced


I would first of all try shaking the cartridge front to back. The ink may just be all the way in the front or back of the cartridge. Shake it to distribute it evenly.
While you have it out, note where the round, clear plastic "window is located on the cartridge. In the machine there are 2 sensors, one on top and one below where the cartridge.is in the machine. Take a cloth and clean both the top and bottom sensor,
If there is no ink in the middle of the cartridge, it will show up as empty, which is why I suggest shaking it back and forth first.

Often times with that machine, if you replace the drum before it says replace, it will not reset.

Xerox F116 fax drum & toner reset cards


This would be an expensive process event to try an old card when entering a used modual. The card resents the main board the the card cannot be used again.
If anything else send the cartridges back to Xerox.
If you try to experiment with a new card, and an old drum, chances are you will create new problems for the Xerox repairman to fix.

Keep a new supply of toners and drums and make sure each item has the card in the box, and do not allow the customers or casual operatiors, including Managers!!!! , to swap theses items on their own.
They are too expensive to trouble-shoot and experiment with.
