Kitchenaide KGST307 cracked inner oven window.

Open your oven door and look at the hinges. You should see a drop down thumb lock on each hinge that you pull down and after you do so, lift up on the door as to close. The door will catch on these thumb locks and then at this point continue to lift up on the door as you pull the door out at the bottom. Reverse directions to reinstall.

Kitchenaide gas range inner door part number 9781721 is cracked.

To replace the door glass do the following:

1 remove the oven door by pulling it up and removing from the the hinges. If glass is broken , then secure glass with tape. Have a table with a cloth on top ready to lay the door.
2 Remove the outer screws , starting from lower side of the panel.
3Remove the inner screws. Keep all set of screws ordered, and take noteof the order you remove them. You will follow reverse order inreassembly.
4 the frame will be free now,
5 Remove the external glass panel and leave it in a safe place.
6 Replace the inner glass.
7 Clean outer glass and metal door, re-assemble it and mount it back

Adjustment to door hinge, as door does not close completely

In most cases door hinges needs to be replace but some time with old stile ovens and ranges help this trik:
1. Put small towels on right and left hinge between the door and range/oven body
2. Close door and gently push like you try to close completely.
3. Try several times.
4. Open door, remove towels and see if it helps
5. If not replace hinges

Having removed the oven door of my Bosch oven I cannot re-attach it. The hinges do not appear to engage. Please can you advise. Many thanks Wayne

WHAT WORKED FOR ME
I had a similar problem with a Roper. I removed the door and laid it on a pad/rug, the inside facing up to the ceiling. I cocked the hinges out as far as they would go with my foot. I had to do this with my foot because the springs on these hinges are very strong and will suddenly jump back into their original position if left alone. Looking at the hinges in the fully cocked, extended position you should see a single hole through each hinge. Place a small screw driver or nail through each hole to hold the hinges in the cocked position. Then lift the door up and align the hinges with the hinge slots on the oven. Slip the hinges into the slots and then push down to engage them. If you have a broiler under the oven you may want to open the door on it to give you more leeway. Once hinges are hooked in the slots you can open the door all the way and remove the screw drivers. You should be good to go. :) Anne
