How do you enlarge scanned images on a HP G3110 scanner?

Find the file you scanned and click on it.Windows picture and fax viewer will open it,bottom right corner is a picture with a paintbrush across it.Open it,and it will open in Paint. If you don't have paint, use http://www.gimp.org/
a Free photo editor.Right click your scanned image and in the pop up is "edit with Gimp"? I use this all the time to pick a "Window" out of a photo and enlarge or shrink it.Works for me!

Printing an enlarged version of a scanned photo

The best way is to use software like Corel PhotoPaint and RESAMPLE the pix to the sze you want. YOu typically will get better resolution.

You could also try selecting the "Fit To Page" setting of the printer window before you tell it to print.

When scanning photos, images no longer fill the frame

I discovered that a small strand of hair had attached itself to the white underside of the platen cover near its bottom edge and this was apparently being treated by the scanner as part of the photo to be scanned. Once I removed the hair, scanned photo images are again correctly being optimised in the frame.
