Remove and reinstall the driver. If that does not work then your wireless adapter is the problem. Replace it and have fun. You should be able to find one on Ebay. Let me know.

I all i need driver for pc card la-3021-100 thanks

Hi there,
Unfortunately there are no drivers supporting this card for a windows XP platform:
http://support.symbol.com/support/dynamickc.do?externalId=WID-00594&sliceId=SAL_Public&command=show&forward=nonthreadedKC&kcId=WID-00594&userId=37
That being said, you could try a generic wireless B PCMCIA carbus driver and see if that works. If not, buy a different adapter!

My wireless is displaying this message...The wireless security settings on this computer do not match the settings on Linksys2.... HELP... As I havent changed anything?

Hello,

It looks like you are getting this error message due to a existing profile with the same network name. Delete the preferred network list and re-connect to your network it should work just fine.

Hope this helped.

Hi, you will need to reinstall the wireless card drivers, if this came with wireless as standard you should be able to download the drivers from the manufacturers support website, if it was added later on then it should have came with an install disc with the drivers on it.

Hope this helps

Driver for Wireless Network Adapter apparently not working, said windows. But the driver shows up in device manager. Recently upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate and the wireless option wasn't there. Realtek...

There is not only Realtek, but two more, i.e. Atheros and Intel. You better install all of them and check which one will work.

Click here to download Realtek Wireless driver

Click here to download Atheros Wireless driver

Click here to download Intel Wireless driver

All these are for Windows 7 32 bit platform (s)

If you've already installed some or part of the above drivers, please uninstall them (installed drivers), restart your computer and install all these.
Let me know if the problem persists.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Wireless button

The T30 laptops do not have a on/off button that turns the wireless card on.
Once the wireless card driver is installed the wireless card will detect any wireless router and access point within its range. You need to configure the wireless card to connect into the wireless router or access point eg. the encryption, SSID etc.
The Thinkpad laptops have different wireless LAN cards installed, when you install a wireless card driver and it doesn't work, then install a different model wireless card driver. Also make sure the XP or Vista version of the wireless driver matches the Windows version that is installed on the laptop.

The capability of your network adapter does not match the requirements of the network

Sounds like driver related problem to me. Re install the driver by using your installation CD, or simply download this tool Driver Update Software for XP Vista 7 8 and make the update. Cheers
