SOURCE: Scooba battery light turns red as soon as irobot starts

Do you leave the battery on charge long enough? Try 4-hours up to overnight. If so, then the battery is probably at the end of it's useful life. Getting a new battery depends on cost versus life expectancy of the robot and whether it does the job you want it to do.

SOURCE: I have a Siemens Wireless

Hi

To fix the issue you need to remove the batterys from both the bell push and the bell unit for 10 mins, then replace the batterys and then push the bell push so it can switch channels and be different from the house down the road

I have this model 4686 Eureka whirlwind big cup, and it was working and all of a sudden, it stopped. The light still comes on when I push the start button, but no the motor. Can you give me some adv

Hi, it's Jim from Crucial Vacuum!

There are a few potential solutions you should try. Start by checking your unit's brushroll and belt. Clear it of any tangled hair strands or debris that my be blocking the airway. If the belt is loose, or has detached, this would cause the motor to over rev and then eventually overheat. Leave the vacuum off for a few hours and give it a chance to cool down then try turning it on again.

If you're in need of a replacement belt or brushroll for your Eureka you can purchase direct from Crucial Vacuum with free shipping and an exclusive 10% coupon for Fixya.com readers, use code: FIXYA10

I have just purchased a wireless doorbell but it does not explain how to change the tune, please help.

Most wireless Door bells go ding-dong! Does your doorbell play Greensleves, or Home on the Range?

Did you get 2 buttons with it?
One is for the front, which makes the bell chime one way and the other is for the rear and it makes it chime differently.

Seems to charge but then wont come on

Sounds like you bought a defective battery
You can test for this by removing the battery and holding the power button for 15 seconds. This will restart the charging cycle as if the battery were new. If it still goes red get a refund and a new one.

New battery. Charged for 24 hours. Light is green, but after 20 seconds light turns red and it stops.

There's a chance that the battery you bought is bad. There's a greater chance that the problem is with the charger. If you're using the dock to charge, try plugging the charger directly into the roomba just to rule that out. If that doesn't fix the problem, I would try borrowing or buying a new charger, and see if that works. If a new charger and new battery don't solve the problem, the problem must be with your roomba itself.

No motor action when the power is ON

I have the same problem with mine -- precisely the same model BSG 81335UC. It feels like the power button switch isn't working properly.
