Question about Samsung HL-R6167W 61" HDTV
This sounds like the lamp needs replaced but first try unplugging the unit for one hour. When powered up it will reset and if it was only a sofware glitch it should work. If this does not solve the problem you need a new lamp.
You can get them from lots of people on the internet but I prefer http://www.encompass.com for price, availability and service. It is probably going to cost around $100 US.
I have a tip at http://www.fixya.com/support/r4168009-change_lamp_in_dlp_projection_tv would will help you with the installation process.
Thanks for using FixYa and for the Great rating.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
