Question about Avaya 4412D Corded Phone

1 Answer

Avaya Speakerphone I have an Avaya 4412D+ speakerphone that isn't loud enough for a big conference call. Are there any products like supplemental speakers compatible with this unit? Or maybe an affordable conference room speakerphone that is compatible with our PBX? I couldn't find anything searching around. Failing that, I could rig something if anyone knows the pinout and voltages of the headset jack.

No, that was a drawback of the 44xx series phones. You should use a Polycom conference phone for a conference phone.

How can I connect my Jabra Speak USB Speakerphone to my iPad so that I can play music through it?

You will require two items to accomplish this task. Unless you are confident enough to actually operate on the Jabba USB plug. (not recommended). The images below are what you require and are both cheap and easily available almost anywhere. Please, I am unsure of the size of the ipad jack, make sure you buy the correct size.

Speaker phone clipping

This is a problem with the model of the phone you are using.
It only has a half duplex speakerphone. Meaning it can only do hald the conversation at any given time, either teh listening or the talking.

What system are you using? you may be able to get a different model that would have a full duplex speakerphone, so it could do both.

That phone is registerring with a server. There is nothing you will be able to do. You need to contact your system administrator

Talk to your system admin. You have a Definity system, which is too complicated for online help. The phone isnt seeing either the license server or the Phone system. There is more than likely an incorrect IP address somewhere.
