Two years is a short time for a failure of a compressor. So first of all you will need to check from the compressor, for gas pressure and then to the timer, the therrmostat and wiring. Put the set off for 8-10 hours and after making sure that no lines have been cut by any rodents , switch on. If the fridge/freezer regains the temperature then it is sure that your timer/ heater and auto defrost section could be faulty. So check one by one and confirm. If however there is no cooling then your compressor performance/ gas pressure could be a reason. So check this out and seek a good help if you need assistance to confirm before changing any part.
