This is a classic switchmode power supply, shutting down to avoid a fire, explosion, or both. This set had developed a problem, that is so severe that the set must be shut down, This set should be removed from the Power, and in my professional recommendation, you should get a "Quote" for repair, from, an Approved Service Center, this point is very important for a good result, Always contact, their local, "Head Office" Now, when you get the information you want, then you can decide as to repair of replacement. The reason we want an approved agent, is that way, all the engineers are trained on their own brand sets, they have seen almost all faults, and will get the job done quicker, and for less cost, and usually have parts on hand

My Computer Kepps Turning off!

If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

What causes the TV to go on and off when first turned on, until it warms up for 5 to 10 minutes

Try turning the volume all the way down then power the TV an see how
long it takes to bring a screen up if you still hear a popping sound then you have a bad part with a bad connection most likey a lamp and wiring.
Call to have it serviced a must if so.

When I first turn on the Toshiba projection tv the color has a strong red hue to it which clears up gradually

I would suggest when turning set on cold---turn color all the way off and examine screen as set warms up---if red to some degree but gradually becomes black and white the issue is either a "touchy" red screen control on the screen/focus block or a problem on the circuit board plugged to the bottom of the red tube.

I guess the real question is how long until it is normal?

When my 2006 FLHP gets warm the clutch doesn't fully disengage when you come to a stop I have to hold it back with the lever pulled in fully. What can I do to solve this problem.

The clutch is not releasing properly. You need to adjust the clutch. To do this, follow the clutch cable down until you find the clutch cable adjuster. It's usually covered by a rubber bellows cover to protect it. Slide the cover up or down exposing the adjuster. Loosen the lock nut and turn the adjuster barrel inwards getting as much slack in the cable as you can. Then stand the bike up fairly straight by putting a block under the kick stand. Make sure the bike is stable and won't fall over. Remove the derby cover. In the center of the clutch assembly you'll see an adjuster. Loosen the lock nut and turn the center screw inwards just until you feel a resistance. Do not force the screw. If you do so, you'll damage your inner clutch hub. If necessary back the screw out and back in until you feel the resistance several times until you get the "feel" for what you're doing. Once you get to the point of resistance, turn the screw back out 1/2 turn and lock the lock nut down. Replace the derby cover. Now, go back to the cable adjuster and turn the adjust barrel out until you have about 1/8 inch of free play at the pivot point of the lever. Squeeze the lever a few times and recheck the free play. Lock the lock nut and replace the protective cover. This should solve the problem.

Good Luck
Steve

Bike wwould not run today without choke pulled all the way out. yesterday much colder choke only half out then pushed in when warm....bike did sit for 5 yrs. added seafoam and 92 octane fuel yesterday...

You are correct, the mixture needs altering.

Start up with the choke in position were it will start, run a few minutes to warm up engine.

Turn mixture screw all the way in, don't screw hard in (Gentle) could damage screw seating, listen to engine when it starts to faulter gradually turn screw out, listening to the engine sound till she is running smooth on tickover. Reve up quick shut down on throttle, and if setup correctly should return to tick over without stopping. Lucky person.

How to change the 'Contrast' and 'Brightness' on the monitor screen

Bootup your computer and display your Windows Desktop. Make sure yourmonitor stays on for at least half an hour before you begin, so that itis properly warmed up.

Seta pure black image on the monitor so you can adjust the brightness. Toget a pure black image, do the following: Choose Start, then ControlPanel, then Display. This will open the Display Properties dialog box.Click the down arrow next to the representation of the desktop color inthe Color field. Choose black from the color palette, then click OK.

Maximizethe Brightness control on your monitor, then slowly reduce it until theblack of the image perfectly matches the black at the edge of thephysical screen. This puts the brightness at the proper setting.

Open a screen with a plain white background soyou can adjust the contrast. One of the best ways to do this is to open aword-processing document without any text in it. Gradually reduce the contrastsetting of your monitor until the white area of the screen begins to lookslightly gray or off-white. Then gradually increase the contrast until thewhite area on your monitor is pure white. This will give you the proper whitebalance. Now you've got your monitor ready for peak performance.

Hope this may help you solve your problem.

What would cause vertical "squiggles" until unit warms up?

This set uses what is called a "Hyper" board; it processes all signal from all inputs.

These sets have a history of tiny capacitors on that board failing, called surface mounted that dry out and fail.

The classic pattern when this problem happens is the period until it clears up gradually gets longer and longer.

The board is no longer available and only available if removed and sent out for repair.

Probably not worth doing as the last one I saw cost over 200 for a repair/rebuild.

I do not like giving bad news but this is what you have.

If this information told you something you did not know rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.

Hi i just replaced my evap fan in my amana mod bbi20tpsw i have 120 v at the motor leads until i hook up the motor then the voltage drops to 9 v

Replace the defrost thermostat , not the motor . The defrost thermostat ( bimetal ) sends power to the fan motor when bimetal is cold ( 35 degrees maybe ) . When first plugged in , the compressor cools the coils until the bimetal clicks on . Then the fan comes on , blowing cold air into the fridge . If the fan came on when first plugged in , it would blow warm air , gradually getting colder . Amana is the only brand using this process of coolant .
