Fujitsu Scan Parnter 15C.
This is scanner which has been working is not. Scanner green ready light is constantly blinking and not going to steady green. Also under scanner no driver is listed. I've rebooted the PC and turned the scanner on and off. Windows 2000 is on the PC. The scci card under device manager is listing the card as working properly. It must be the scanner itself. The scanner light is on also if that helps trouble shooting.

First you need to see if the scanner shows in the device manager , if it doesnt it is likely the CPU / Main board is faulty If you can see the scanner in the device manager it has connected and loaded its firmware in this case it could be many things but the image guides are the most common issue , check them for damage especially the white area on the underside
There are a few reasons this might happen. 1) Check if the transport lock is in the locked position. Unlock the unit if it is locked. 2) An error occurred. Try restarting the computer, unplug the scanner, wait 10 seconds and reconnect the scanner. (This fixes issues where the software isn't running/fully loaded or the connection isn't solid).
Try a new USB cable and a different port. If you have a USB hub in the middle, try a direct connection. (Bi-directional communication is needed and this may show as an error if it is lost.)
3) Try unplugging the scanner from power and plugging it back in.
4) Try unplugging the optional accessories. If they fail, the unit may indicate a failure.
5) The lamp may need to be replaced.
6) Something else may have failed. Consider if it is worth having the unit serviced.
Go under the advanced settings for the scanner and select ADF (Auto-document Feeder)

The flashing green light has the following meaning:
• Blinking green: indicates the scanner is waking up from power saving and preparing to scan. • Steady green: indicates the scanner is ready to scan.
How to Adjust the Power Save Settings for the DocuMate 252 1. Right-click on the One Touch icon and choose Show Hardware from the pop-up menu. You can also click the scanner icon at the top of the One Touch Button Panel. If the Hardware View of the panel is open you can also right- click on the DM252 icon. The Hardware Properties dialog box opens and shows information about your Xerox DocuMate 252 scanner. 2. Click the Properties button. Your scanner has a built-in power saving feature that is set to power down after 15 minutes of idle time. You can change the time before the scanner powers down, from 1 minute to a maximum of 3 hours. 3. Click the arrows for the Lamp timeout setting and choose a time setting. To return the scanner to its factory settings, click Reset Device. 4. Click OK to save the changes and close the dialog box.
Let me know if this solves the problem and thank you, Binary Bob
Initially, I get a green flashing light when unit turned on, but after a minute or so, it turns to a red flashing light. It will take in the film tray only when blinking red, not when blinking green. My iMac has a hard time seeing the scanner, keep getting "scanner not found" messages. I have to go to system profiler and have it refresh and then it finds it, then the scanner software sees it too. But I have been unable to one preview out of it, says LED error and that's it. Using 10.4.10 on an iMac 20" with 2.5gb of RAM, using Pshop CS2 or going through Minolta Driver of OSX I got off of VersionTracker. I did remove the screw for transport right away. Will feed in 35mm tray with red blinking light, will not feed in 120 tray except partially with red blinking light, and only a couple times out of maybe ten tries.
