I need driver for cif single chip web camera of hp desktop

1st You download Webcam Driver.
driver for hp cif single chip web camAfter this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

hi sorry i do not know what country you are from, but i gather you need drivers for this? here is the driver link i have same camera and these worked for me

I had the same problem too and tried all kinda solution I cud find on the net for ages... The solution is simple...but windows dont give the exact problem description.
Infact...in Device manager, u miss a category called "Imaging device".To get that section back and put ur cam to work download the file "sti_ci.dll" from here.
Extract it, and copy the file to "C:\Windows\System32\" folder and connect back ur cam.Yo get get windows saying device is installed and ready to use. That worked for me. If it worked for u, please post it on other forms to help people who r still trying to look for a solution.

you can find hp drivers for laptops webcams and anything from www.hp.com use ths earch function that they have there.
