It is possible that your auto defrost is not working and hence the cooling coils are frosted so that the cooling drops down. So first of all shut down the fridge and after 8-10 hours restart. If the cooling returns then our confirmation of the timer could be right. You must check the wiring, the timer, the heater and the fan. Howeverr if the cooling is still not good enough then it is possible that your compressor can be faulty or even if your gas has run down on pressure. So you will need to check these out before we reach a confirmation. Get help if you need to confirm. Good day

GE monogram refrigerator too cold

There is a balance between the freezer and fridge. Reduce the freezer temp and see what the fridge temp does. By reduce I
mean make the freezer warmer. If it is set too cold the fridge gets colder.

Fridge not getting cold

With a top freezer the cold air comes from the freezer down into the fridge. It uses a fan to blow the air down. It's possible that the fan is burned out. Does the fan come on if you turn the temp. to the fridge to colder? If not, then that may be the problem. The fix is not too easy, but can be done by an experienced do-it-yourselfer.

Temperatures not staying cold, then getting too cold. First everything in freezer thawed out. Then, fridge wasn't cold enough. We moved everything to freezer just to keep colder (not to freeze). Then, days...

assuming fan now working. clean out vents/ drain holes (make sure no ice in bottom of freezer or in fridge unit)i.e. a total defrost.then check door seals all okay(no air leaks) if unit was trying to defrost itself and you reset to colder it will need to reset itself.....

Freezer works great, but fridg. will not get below 50

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp.

Make sure the fan is running when the compressor runs. Make sure the vent(damper) opens and closes as you adjust the fridge temp control.

Westinghouse Wse6100WA side by side Fridge-icing up/not cooling

This is a bad design flaw, the fridhe is cooled by fan forced air from the freazer. Two ducts vent into and out of the fridge fron the freezer and ice can block them up (which you can find if you take off all the plastic at the top and back of the fridge).
Hence, when they block up, the frindge does not cool, hence the thermostat tells the fridge to keep running which makes the freezer colder and colder, making the blockage worse.

You need to not only fully defrost the freezer (which can be done quicker by removing the plastic panel in the back of the freezer and using a hairdryer) BUT also fully dry the fridge before turning it back on.
To stop it happening again, avoid puting unvovered liquids or hot items in the fridge. Also avoid leaving the fridge and freezer doors open for long especially in humid conditions. As I said, it's a bad design.
