SOURCE: Fujitsu wall mounted air conditioner leaks into the room

Make sure the unit is level, this is very important. Check for blocked drain tube, which runs from the bottom of the drain pan under the cold coil to the outside. Clear tube with a piece of coathanger wire, be gentle.

SOURCE: my air conditioner is leaking

2 things generally cause this.

1. The rear of the unit is not tilted down enough for the water to flow to the drain hole in the drip pan.. 1/4' to 1/2" tilt is the general rule of thumb.

2. The drain hole at the rear of the drip pan is clogged and needs to be cleared. It can be hard to find, as the clog will blend in with the drain. Use a pipe cleaner to clear the clog.

Hope this helped you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Ford e150 is leaking somewhere on driver side when it rains?

If it ain't the windows.
It is probably an air vent seal.
Does it leak only when it is being driven or also when it is parked?
Check in front of the windshield - clean out the vents etc... check the gaskets going into the cabin around the wire harness inlets etc.
If you can't find a hole - it might just be condensation from the air conditioner hose.

Hi, I have an air conditioner Frigidaire which is leaking in the front. The unit is in a window, in a 4th Floor and I don't have access to the back, how can I unclog the unit??. I am desperate!!!!

if it's just condensation leaking out the front of the unit it could be that the unit is not level in the window. If it's tilted too far into the room it will leak condensation into the room. Try to tilt it back just a hair so that the condensation leaks out the back of the unit.

Soleus A/C unit is leaking water out of drain plug

it is working well, possibly has a bad sensor to tell you it's full but put a permanent drain on, run it in the sink or dump it more often. just means it's pulling out excessive amounts of moisture

My LWHD1200FR AC Unit is not cooling during the

The unit may not be big enough. From the model number I am thinking you a/c is a 12000 btu. Which is usally enough for a large room. However if you have an open floor plan or a really large room you may need a bigger or second unit.

Condensation leaking out of unit

if it is the indoor unit leaking, make sure that all your drain lines are clear.... if you're talking about the outdoor unit leaking water in the heat cycle...that is normal.

Air conditioner is leaking on the floor

Hi! siswebster7
Is this a window or wall unit. If so the unit is not tilted so the condensation can run away from the room, or the condensation drain is pluged.

Excessice Drainage

This may be normal for your area if there is excess humidity.
Try finding the drain hose and redirect it somewhere.
If the air conditioner is working (cooling) then that would be the problem.
If not cooking well, then most likely you need to put more freon in it and also check for a leak.
This should be done by a qualified person.
Also, try unplugging it overnight and see if it helps.
You can check if there is excess ice build up on the inside.
By unplugging it, you may solve the ice buildup problem.
