The touchscreen isnt working properly. When I turn the phone on it is asking for my regular password, however when I try to type the password the phone isnt typing what Im writing. The touchscreen does not seems to be "adjusted" or "accurate". Since I can not type the correct password, I can not use my phone.

My phone isnt picking up the sense to touchscreen, everyone in my family has tried to unlock my phone but the touchscreen doesnt pick up a sense, and its just frozen it will power off and turn back on...

A friend of mine had this same problem with an LG Ally. Eventually he had to remove the battery from the phone and replace it before the screen would respond. Some other things to try if that doesn't work:
  • Remove any screen protector you may have put on the phone. It is rare, but sometimes these can interfere with touchscreens of certain types
  • Reset the phone to the factory defaults (steps below):
  1. Turn the power off.
  2. Press and hold: Home Key + Power Key + Up or Down Volume Key.
  3. Turn the power on, while keeping the three keys pressed.
  4. When the LG logo is shown, release the keys.
  • Failing the above, I would return the phone to the retailer from which it was purchased. It's possible that the touchscreen is simply flawed.

never think that you can fix the touch screen problem by opening the phone... it can only be done by professionals.... so give your phone to LG... for checking .... they will repair it in good manner...

go to service centre and tell them about the problem you facing... Bcoz there is no cure to fix damaged touch screen...

the only way is Replacing it with the same one.... and dont forget to ask for genuine LG touch screen.....

My touchscreen on my lg bliss isnt working properly

You need to replace the 'digitizer' on your phone. You can find them on ebay
for around $10 and do it yourself. Or most cell stores will charge $30-$40 on average.

SAmsung behold turns on and restarts on its own will. Cannot open text messages either

Not sure why it happens, but my behold would start up and then turn off, start up and then turn off, cycling over and over. I checked internet and no one had an answer. Finally tried this and it seemed to work. When the behold finally gets to the first screen (with widgets, phone,, web, and menu on the bottom of screen) I pushed on the touchscreen menu button. I only had a few seconds before it shuts down and restarts. The menu screen popped up and I went to the "settings" and then "reset settings". It asks for a password (I used 12345), and then confirm password. This will reset your phone, but you will also lose info. or pics on your phone. Phone then did an automatic restart and my phone was back working. I was then able to restore my phonebook #'s because tmobile has an automatic phonebook backup. I hope this helps anyone with the same problem I had. Makes me angry that when I called tmobile they said no one has called with this issue yet I have found many people with the same problem. Obviously some type of glitch that seems to have an easy fix.

Okay.If your tying to connect to another bluetooth pretty sure the password changes everytime.
But if you go in to your bluetooth settings, check that safe mood bluetooth is turned off. this should stop the asking for passwords.
If the above doesnt work check the 'Password' isnt your phones pin number or security number.

Hope I helped you out a bit!

Iphone touchscreen not working:(

I think my solution for my Viewty will work for the iPhone

I found a solution for the LG KU990 Viewty touchscreen not responding problem. After thinking about twisting my phone, I came up with another solution which actually works every time. The touchscreen works via layers of plastic that when contact is made, a signal is triggered from the coordinates of the contact. However, when the phone has pressure, these layers of plastic stick together somehow. So, to fix it.... Get a small strip of adhesive tape that will not leave a sticky residue on your screen. Apply that tape in several spots on the surface of the screen, and lift it away from the phone with light pressure. Repeat this in several areas of the screen. That's it. You're done. Your screen should function properly. Simply recalibrate the touchscreen at this point in your settings menu. I hope it helps everyone with any type of touchscreen. I know it helped me. The touchscreen phones are totally useless using only the hard keys!
