Microphone check two feet found on connector, whether it is broken or not, if not, try to raise the foot of the microphone. clean with eraser if necessary, clean the gold pad on the PCB area that is contrary to the microphone, all the better. make sure you screw with tight binding and not gap.

How i can fix my N95 mobile, I can hear people but others cannot hear me.

If make outgoing calls and the person whom you're calling can't hear you,the main problem is the mic or mouthpiece that transmit your voice to others.

* this is due to when you dropped the phone and the components or parts are dislocated

* water damage that may result to corrrusion.

If you can fix it on your own :

(you need a T6 precesion screw driver)

*open the back cover by just lifting up the side housing
* unscrew 2 screw then there's a small box insert with 2 pins and that would be the mic or mouthpiece we're looking for.
*check the level of the pin and see if there's a stain or dirt, try clean it and align as well.
* assemble it again and test using a voice recorder or try to call anyone.

hope it helps you with this solution..thank you for visiting Fixya...

When calls come through I can hear them but they can't hear me

Hello,

this is because the mouthpiece of your phone is defective. its either the mouthpiece is fault and needs replacement or there is dust on the mic hole, blocking it from function.

Use a phone screw driver to open up the phone, clean the mouthpiece hole, use a tiny pin to through dirt or dust that may be blocking the mouthpiece hole. couple the phone back ans try again.

If the problem still persists, then it means you will have to change the mouthpiece entirely. Go to any phone part accessories shop/store within your vicinity, buy a new mouth piece for your phone model, do the replacement and your phone should be perfect again.

Also, before you change the mouthpiece, you still have an option of using a hands-free (earphone) to receive and make calls till you replace the phone's mouthpiece. The hands-free hands-free (earphone) has it own mic/mouthpiece so its definitely going to work.

I hope the above solves your problem. Let me know is you still need further assistance or clarification and I will be glad to respond or reply back to you.

Good luck........

My mike dosn't work

Hello,

Since you know your mouthpiece is not working.

I strongly advice you use a earpiece and it will serve as both mike and speaker for your phone.

But if you want to fix the mic of your phone,

These are the processes to follow to fix your mic;
  1. Get the appropriate screwdriver (Phillips screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar plectrum or credit card.),
  2. Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Remove the four screws you can see.
  3. Peel back the sticker. You may need something with a thin, sharp point to peel the sticker back with. Two rubber stoppers need to be levered out to reveal two more screws that must be removed.
  4. Run your plastic tool along the join of the battery compartment to separate the phone into two halves.
  5. Next you need to disconnect the ribbon by the right. This attaches like a plug and socket. Simply lift the connector up, away from the circuit board to unplug it.
  6. Remove the screw by the left.
  7. You can now lift the green circuit board away from the phone. A little force is required.
  8. You should now have the circuit board removed. Note that a ribbon, will have to be disconnected when you removed the circuit board. Again, this attaches like a plug and socket.
  9. On the circuit board, you will see the mic on it, get a replacement mic, disconnect the old mic and fix the new mic.
  10. Then reverse the process to reassemble the phone back together.
Take care

Why do people have problems hearing me?

Hello,

this is because the mouthpiece/mic of your phone is faulty.

I would suggest that you clean the mouthpiece/mic of your phone as dust might have blocked the hole and not making other people hear you.

If it does not work after cleaning, then it means the mouthpiece needs to be replaced.

You also have a option of using a hand free/earphone for your phone pending the time you fix the mouth piece problem.

Take care.
