I have a zhone 6211-I3-200-ADSL2+CPE w/phone filter. I am trying to connect 2 computers (1 laptop, 1 desk top) to a linksys WRT 150n wireless router and cannot get the wireless connection to work. It shows up on the computers as connected but no internet access. I am a novice at this so any recommendations would have to be in laymans terms or step by step. I am running windows 7 ultimate on both computers. I am also able to access the admin. for both the modem and router for editing. The router is showing pacific time and should be eastern, but when I try to change it and save, its gives me a message that both the WAN & LAN are using the same IP address. I did try changing the IP address and get a message that the IP address and the gateway are not in the same subnet mask which of course I don't understand. Please can someone help!!

1.Log into router
2. Verify wireless router name( on the computer) >>> ( on/off)
3.Note router name you are connecting to.
4.. Check the laptop do ipconfig /all to see current IP addresses.
5. Set the laptop up in the router by WEP KEY or MAC address.
6.Note router name you are connecting to.
7. Move the laptop about 20ft away and try to log on to the internet.
This is for all routers to set up wirelessly.

hi parkerjunkma,

be sure you detected the wrt..then the SSID and Security Encryption should be matched..the SSID will definitely detected so the Password should be entered.
