Windows shuts down unexpectedly blue screen

It'll be probably due to the overheating of your cpu. Just check whether all system fans if your cpu are working.. If it is check the moulding of fan to the motberboard.

My computer will keep cutting off it mainly do it when im on netflix i thinking it got somethin to do with my shockwave

Overheating When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermal overload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is the problem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail.
A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are clogged with dust.
Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan.
If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make sure the vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed air to do this.

Auto shut down occurs due to overheating

you might want to replace the CPU fan and re apply a thermal paste between your processor and heatsink. Make sure the heatsink and CPU fan is securely in place to avoid thermal problems

Computor shuts down. screen goes to black. turn back on and get siren sound and screen says shut down due to thermal event. hit F4 to resume. had same problem a couple years ago and they replaced fan

try applying new cooling pest between cpu heatsink and cpu. Heat from cpu surface should be quickly transferred to heat sink. Either coolent problem or heatsink doesnot properly fit on cpu. But be carefull, you need an 'EXPERT' to do this, or you end up damaging everything.

My HP Compaq Presario v2000 has new mobo, new CPU

You probably put more than a pin-head size drop of heat grease compound on CPU, thus "bleeding" over on the CPU, effectively overheating processor (very common). In any event, your problem is overheating -that's *the* place to look for now.

HP desktop that shuts down after 15min.

Usually when this happens it is due to the thermal monitor in the cpu telling the system it is overheating. This can be caused by a weak or worn out cpu heatsink/fan. I would recommend replacing the heatsink/fan assembly with a new one making sure to use a good quality thermal grease between the heatsink & cpu. Reassemble and see if that fixes the problem. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

Hello.., i m using asus K8VMX motherboard...problem is it is shutting down

Yes, It most likely is a overheating issue.. The motherboard has a feature built-in which monitors CPU temperature and shuts down the system as soon as CPU temps exceed manufacturer's limit.. Kindly look into reseating the Heatsink Fan (HSF) also make sure the base of it that contacts the CPU is Clean so proper contact area can be achieved, also apply some thermal paste if handy or available.. Also take a note if the Heatsink Fan is connected and functioning properly..

PC gets shut down

this means that it is overheating. you can do many things here. 1. take off the CPU cooler, and reapply some heatsync and see if that fixes the problem. 2. buy a larger, or more efficient CPU cooler, newegg.com is a great place to find good parts that are cheap and come with customer reviews already. 3. change the settings in your bios to allow the CPU to become warmer (do not go above 75 degrees) without shutdown or alarm.
