Canon ip 1600 'color cartridge not recognized and/or device not r

i am having canon pixma ip 2700 inkjet printer. it worked properly till. I got refilled both cartridge and fix it in my printer but the cartridge was not recognized. i had tried installing the cartridge many times and also tried switch off and on it again many times but the printer shows the same error that "An error occurred.Some ink cartridges cannot be recognized." and a message box is opened and it shows that "An ink cartridge is not installed properly.Open the printer's cover, make sure the ink cartridge is installed properly, and close the cover." help me to recover from this problem i can't afford to buy new cartridges. suggest me some ideas and procedures to

Five blinks indicates it doesn't recognize the FINE/color cartridge. Try cleaning the contacts the cartridge and the print head with alcohol and a qtip or you may have to replace it.

go to canon us support product menu printers/ip/1600/ downloads and driver. This will give you the software for your printer. I'm assuming your using xp as this is required. If your on windows 7 that os should recognize your ip 1600 and install the drivers itself.

what do you mean by reset? you mean resetting the device to it's factory settings or resetting it to recognize the refilled cartridge? if it's second one it can be a problem, because as far as i know the new line models (such as 4600) has different chip inside the ink cartridge and because of that fact there's still no resetter for the new models. you can try holding the resume button for a few seconds after inserting the cartridge but i doubt it will do the work. i will ask my friend 2moro and will report back

IF YOU HAVE BUY THE INKS THEN YOU GET NIDLE AND SIRING THEN YOU WILL USE THE TECHNIC DOCTOR USE TO SWAP THE LIQUID FROM THE CONTAINER AND INJECT IT IN THE BODY YOU WILL USE THE SAME TECHNICS GET THE INK IN TO THE SIRING AND PUT IT IN THE CARTRIDGE BUT MIND YOU LOOK AT THE HOLES VERY WELL RED HOLE WILL BE MARK RED, BLUE WILL BE MARK BLUE WHILE YELOW WILL BE MARK YELOW SO ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS FOR YOU TO PUT THE INK IN THE RIGHT HOLE IN SOME CARTRIDGE THE HOLES WILL GUIDE BY A OBJECT REMOVE CAREFULLY THEN AS YOU FINISH REFILLING EACH HOLE PUT THE OBJECT BACK.

You need to use a very thin needle (25 gauge medical needle works well) on a syringe. There is a tiny hole in the canon 40 cartridge under the label which you need to fill. To refill the color cartridge (canon 41) as you look at the cartridge, the hole at the top is magenta, the hole to the left is blue and the hole to the right is yellow, use a separate syringe and needle for each color. Every now and then you will need to use some cartridge cleaner to soften/clean the sponge in the cartridge. I use 0.5cc of cleaner then let sit overnight before adding ink. You need to be sure the label is replaced well or use good tape to keep the ink from escaping.

you can refill your catridge, open the label .... make a whole with knife or something edge, and the red color in center position, the yellow in the right position , and the blue in the left position

don't refill too full, about a 30 cc inks
