Unplug it and dethaw by hair dryer(caution not to get water on/in the hair dryer)or by allowing room temprature air to thaw it out. Make sure refrigerator is leval, once those task are finished make sure your water valve after it cycles stops and does not continue to trickle. Sounds like water valve is not closing off compleatly

The cold control needs replacing. Thats the knob with the numbers that turn the Ref OFF and ON.
What I do is call my local Appliance Parts Store with my model no. They are extremely helpful .
Get freezer and ref thermometer. Ref is probably too cold.
Freezer should be 0 to 10 degrees. Ref 33 to 35

The water fill tube for the icemaker is blocked.

Replace the Dual water control valve found on the back of the refrigerator near the floor with a new one and thaw out the entrance where the water goes into the ice maker. Provide a model number found on the inside of the fresh food compartment wall and I'll try to help you find the correct part number for the water control valve. The water control valve is apparently leaking like a leaky faucet and it's freezing causing the problem

Frigidaire icemaker wont fill with water. Side by side model. The icemaker motor is working but water is not filling in to make the ice.

Take a blow dryer and try to thaw the tube out. It may have froze on you. Please leave good thumbs up for my guess Thanks The Raz Shack

Ice buildup from water feeding the ice maker

Are you certain that the ice build-up is actually originating from the water flow into the icemaker? If ice is built-up on the rear freezer panel, then your problem is more than likely a defrost component issue (defrost thermostat or defrost heater(s). If the ice is built-up on the side wall of the freezer near the icemaker, then water is probably being diverted inside the water inlet tubing that goes into the icemaker. This diversion is usually caused by an accumulation of ice inside the water inlet tubing. You will probably need to remove the icemaker in order to glance inside the water inlet tubing to see if ice is in fact inside the tubing. If so, take a screw driver or other object that won't puncture the tubing and remove the ice.

Contact an appliance service company if the ice is on the rear freezer panel.

Jenn-air side-by-side water dispenser leak

Check the fill tube to your icemaker and see if it has ice in it or in the fill cup to the icemaker. Most of the time when this problem happens it is the icemaker spraying the water. It could also be a bad module on the icemaker which can get stuck in the fill position and spray water all over the freezer.

Ice tray dont empty and water keeps running out

Something caught inside the water valve (replace water valve ) such as dirt , sand . Or , the icemaker died in the fill position . Disconnect the icemaker plug inside the freezer , and see if water still runs from the icemaker fill tube . Also make sure the icemaker fill cup on the icemaker , is not clogged with ice .

Hello,

That could be caused by a number of things. Freezer temperature is too high, The Tube that feeds water into the icemaker could be froze up. Bad Water Valve. or Bad IceMaker.
Ensure the the Bar on the side of the icemaker can go completely down, against the side of the icemaker.

Let me know how you make out.

Icemaker does not work

Hello Netmindr32,
You will need to replace your inlet valve. The problem is the water is slowly leaking into your icemaker fill line and freezing up. You will have a double inlet valve and the line going to your dispencer may be working fine but the one going to the icemaker is not sealing off. Be sure to defrost all the ice out after replacing the inlet valve. And please allow several cycles of your icemaker before it makes its first batch. It can take 2-3 cycles to fill lines and filters depending on your model. Lots of luck to you and please let me know if this helped you. Mca0824@aol.com
