Hi,

Just tilt the washer back and prop it up with some wood blocks. Three screws are right on the front at the very bottom. Use a 9/32 socket to remove them. The front cover slides right off. The drain trapclean out is right in the middle. Turn the large white knob counter-clockwise to remove it and clean.

Thank you !!

Got a pair of socks, a screw washer and pen eraser from the drain trap. The Sud and F35 error persisted after that. It was probably a really part issue?

F 35 code suds changed pressure switch and hose to pressure switch cleaned all drains and hoses already

Most likely the CCU. Its best to run it thru a diagnostics check to be sure. Some steam models can have a bad steam board that will give the F35 code. That can also be checked by following the diagnostics information which is found in the lower section of unit usually in a plastic bag stuck to the right hand inner side panel.

My Maytag washer said suds then f 35. what does it mean do I need it repair?

Some F-35 notes:

F35: ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE
If this failure is displayed, there is any malfunction of the steamer
component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board.

Possible Causes/Procedure
Check if pressure hose is fixed correctly.
Check if the airtrap is not blocked.
Check if the hose is not blocked.

Make sure you are ONLY using HE SOAP!
Correct usage amounts are as follows:

Regular HE SOAP = 2 Tablespoons
2X HE SOAP = 1 Tablespoon
3X HE SOAP = 1 Teaspoon

The information on the soap usage comes directly from Whirlpool Tech Line.

SUDS LOCK (OVERDOSE OF DETERGENT DETECTED DURING THE
WASH CYCLE)

If suds are detected continuously by the pressure switch during the drain
or spin phases, the washer will fi ll 4 liters of water and during 5 minutes
the unit will rest without tumbling, the water will be drained and it will try
to spin or drain again.

Item 20

$86:

Keep in mind if too much detergent was used:
Run through a RINSE/SPIN cycle.
Run a NORMAL cycle without adding any detergent.
This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.
Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
Unplug washer or disconnect power.
Check wire harness connections to the drain pump, pressure switch,
and Central Control Unit (CCU).
Check/clean drain pump filter of foreign objects.
Plug in washer or reconnect power.
Check drain pump.
Check the pressure switch.
Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic Test or any cycle.

Keep getting sud Code then F-35, Tried cleaning trap & flushed about 20 gallons of fresh water through system & still getting codes. ???????

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F 35 means ANALOG PRESSURE SENSOR FAILURE- If this failure is displayed then there is any malfunction of the component detected by the Steamer Electronic Board.

1. Check if pressure hose is fixed correctly.
2. Check if the air trap is not blocked.
3. Check if the hose is not blocked

If it still not works then it is a problem with the water level pressure switch operation. There could be a blockage in the air dome or pressure switch hose. The air dome is located on the back of the tub on the left hand side. If the pressure switch hose and the air dome are clear of any blockages, then there is an issue with the water level pressure switch. Please rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Model: wfw9500tw01 f35 error

F35 is a water level error.
The water level switch (pressure switch) has malfunctioned.

If you remove the top panel, three screws in the back, you will have access to the pressure switch.

With the tub empty, remove the vinyl hose from the switch and blow backwards through the hose to clear any restrictions.

If the fault codes return after doing this, you will likely need to replace the pressure switch.

Also - please be sure to use He soap.

When we try to start Washing machine (Kenmore Front Loader) A code F 35 or Sud pops up And flashes.

Apparently this problem "Suds" and "F35" error codes is happening to a lot of people ~ If you do not have any clogged hoses, then the Analog Pressure Switch is more than likely the issue.

Here's the downside, the problem is so wide spread that the part is back ordered for weeks. You would think that SEARS Extended Warranty Service would keep this part in stock so their customers are not without a brand new washer for over a month!

Whirlpool duet washer flashes F35 model # wfw9500tw01

I had a F35 error pop up, then Sud error started to occur. On the Clean machine cycle I would get a F 21 error.

On the top off the machine the is a pressure sensor that is at the rear right side at the top and has a black rubber hose in it and a set of wire that clips in. It clips to the washing machine wall. I replaced the censor for $144 Canadain. It works great now.

Use the correct soap.

I attemped to runn the machine over and over hoping it would just clean it self, with no luck.

I also opened the rear od the machine cleaned the hose and the canaster the attaches to the washer that leads to the pressure sensor, this also did not help.

I opened the bottom front of the washer and cleaned out the pump resevour ( use a bag to catch the water) I found a few things in there like money and various pocket stuff.

I even flushed nthe sensor out with a ink loader seringe in hope to clean out the sensor. This only made the sensor show the Sud error emediately as the water enter the machine.

Be all, end all was a new pressure sensor fixed all the errors.
