Consew226 needle not picking up bobbin thread

So I realize this is a long shot, but I thought it was worth a try before I called a service guy and dropped a bunch of money on the problem. My machine was working just fine and then I put in a bobbin that I later realized wasn't wound properly. After I realized the thread was too loose on the bobbin, I took it out and tried to replace it with a bobbin that was wound better. Well, now the needle won't pick up the bobbin thread. In fact, the bobbin actually won't rotate at all when the needle plate is on the machine. I took off the needle plate and it will rotate but the thread still isn't picking up. What's up with that? Do you think I got some thread jammed between the bobbin and the shuttle that isn't visible? I unscrewed all the parts I could get to with the screw driver sizes I have at home but I can't figure out how to get the shuttle out to see if something is jammed. There are 2 screws on the side of the shuttle that are too close to the other parts for my screw driver to fit in there. any suggestions? I can provide photos if necessary. Thanks!

Bobbin doesn't move so that needle can pull thread up from bobbin

If the tail is long enough on the bobbin thread and the top thread does not pick it up, try a brand new needle. A bent/damaged needle sometimes will not pick up the bobbin thread. If a new needle doesn't help, then your machine is probably out of time. Search for sewing machine timing or take it for service.

Needle will not pick up bottom thread

Try a brand new needle. Verify it is installed correctly.

Remove the bobbin. Check that the bobbin is turning the correct direction and the thread is threaded correctly in the bobbin case. Reinstall the bobbin case and make sure that it latches.

Retest your machine. Manually turn the handwheel and watch the needle descend and see if the thread picks up the bobbin thread. If not, then the machine may have a timing issue. Take it for service.

My Ruby Viking will not pick up bobbin thread

Install a brand new needle. A bent/damaged needle sometimes will not pick up the bobbin thread.

Verify the machine is threaded correctly.

If it still will not pick up the bobbin thread, most likely it is a needle/hook timing issues. There are many web sites and videos online explaining sewing machine timing. Or take it for service.

When thread cotton. Cotton don't pick up bobbin cotton please help bernette65

Be sure to use a brand new needle. A bent/damaged needle may have difficulty picking up the bobbin thread.

Verify that both upper and bobbin threads are threaded correctly. If so, and it still fails to pick up the bobbin thread, most likely there is needle/hook timing issue. Take it for service.

Needle not picking up bobbin thread how can I fix this ?

Try installing a brand new needle. Sometimes a bent/damaged needle will not pick up the bobbin thread.

Check that the bobbin thread is loaded properly.

If the problem continues, take it for service as the needle/hook timing can be off.

I am having alot of trouble finding info for my white e-6354this is a vintage machine I realize but I can't get the top thread to pick up the bobbin thread

Rethread your machine, making sure your needle is not bent or dull, and please make sure that your presser foot is not sitting flat against the needle plate. Make sure you thread needle with flat side behind and the more rounded side facing you.
Lift the presser foot so that it will open the tension disks.
I hope this helps.
