Question about Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop
I have an acer aspire 3680 laptop, that's like 3 years old. recently its been difficult to turn on cause the power button was stuck...well now i just turned it on...and now the power button just broke...the computer turned on but now i'm afraid to shut down the computer cause i'm not sure if i can turn it back on again...is there any way that i can fix this?
Ok, it seems that this is a pretty common issue. I found a youtube video showing how to get around this. I watched some of it, the guys seems pretty competent. however, you might not be comfortable taking this thing apart or doing what he is doing. However, it is a relatively simple thing to fix for a competent repair person and I looked up new power assembly and they run around $25 on ebay. Here is the link for the video I found:
There were a couple of other videos also that I didn't watch. However, if you just need this thing to work for a while and you intend to replace it in the near future and just need to get by for a short while, this should work. If you intend to keep this long term you might want to take it to a computer repair shop. Good luck. hope this helps.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

its showing operating system not found, because the system cannot detect your hard disk.
Open your system, remove and fix back the hard disk, then try again.
