Chances are your burner is probably going/gone bad. Simply open the system carefully and replace the drive. Worked for me! hope this helps.

I changed out my burner drive on my primera bravo from a pioneer 106d to a pioneer 112d. the printer still works but I get no response from the drive. It tells me it can't find the robot.

Hello,

Is there any software cd that came with the burner? If there is, install it, and if you can reset your device, reset, that will fix the problem.

Take care.

Did you install the software? If I remember rightly the Mac version requires Discribe software. Let me know and we'll see if we can narrow it down.

Every time I open winfax pro10. it changes my desktop display, it maximizes the Icons

This happens if you have an NVIDIA NView setup. You might need to add wfxmod32 , wfxctl32 to your NVIDIA application settings to disable all NView functionality for these programs.

WinFax Tools has many fixes for WinFax that are automated.

The factory says that you cannot change the drive from a CD drive to a DVD drive yourself. Although you can physically make the change, they indicate that the motherboard needs to be modified or changed in order to switch from CD to DVD. That's why they get $400 to make the upgrade. They don't provide any parts to do this, either, because I'm sure it wouldn't be a trivial change.

Primera Bravo Pro

Pioneer 115's require a special firmware to allow the drive trays to eject far enough so that the robot can drop the discs into the tray cleanly. The firmware for the 115 can be found at http://www.primera.com/downloads/support/DriveFirmware/DriveFirmware.html. Hopefully this should fix your problem.

Thanks..piece of cake. A few things to know.
1. The entire robot mechanism does not have to be taken apart, but it has to be taken out in order to get to the screws that hold the drive.
2. Make sure you use the correct holes when installing the drive. If not the robot will not be in the center of the disk when it goes to pick it up.
3. I did it in less than an hour. Drive cost me 22 bucks.
