Good morning, afternoon, evening or night; whatever time of day you are viewing this. Thank you for choosing
FixYa to assist you with your problem. You want to know how to upload videos in the Phillips
GOGEAR SA6045 MP3 player after converting the video into
WMV format? I'm about to give you the step by step procedures on how to do that task.
- If you haven't done so already, install the Philips Digital Audio Player CD that came with your device. This contains Windows Media Player 11, Phillips Device Manager, ArcSoft MediaConverter, User Manual and FAQs. Here is the website address if you need to download this software. http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?slg=en&scy=us&mid=Link_Software&ctn=SA6045/37
- Using your supplied USB Cable, connect your MP3 player to your PC.
- Start MediaConverter (you may need to click the icon (a strip of film, a photo and a music note with an arrow pointing towards an MP3 player)) located in the taskbar, to activate.
- Near the bottom of the screen you will see "Convert to:" with some options. Click Current Device so the uploaded contents will be stored directly to your device.
- Click Add Media to select the video files that will be transferred.
- When you finish selecting your files, click Open. You may also add more files from Windows Explorer if you would like.
- Click Convert. Conversion times vary depending on your PC configuration and processing speeds. The process conversion will be shown on your computer monitor.
- Exit out of MediaConversion when finished and disconnect the USB Cable from your computer.
The compression format for
WMV videos are: 30 fps, 512 kbps; 320 x 240 pixels.
