Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Turn My Virgin Mobile Voice Mail Off & On

Virgin Mobile is an international wireless-service provider whose parent company, Virgin Groups, Ltd., has been popularized by its eccentric billionaire owner, Richard Branson.
The Virgin Mobile phone company offers many of the same services that other cell phone companies offer, including voice mail.
Virgin Mobile calls its free voice-mail service VMAIL.
If you feel like VMAIL is more of a hindrance than a convenience, you can easily disable it in a few simple steps at no additional cost.

Turn on your phone and set it to "Standby" mode by navigating to the home screen and pressing the "End" button once without holding it for too long.
Make sure there are no applications running.
Type "#002#" into your phone's keypad.

Press the "Call/Send" button.
Your VMAIL service is now disabled.

Reinstate your VMAIL service at any time by dialing "**004*212#" and hitting the "Call/Send" button.

Incoming calls briefly ring once then automatically kick over to answering machine. I cannot get any incoming calls

Are you using norstar voicemail system?

If you are and know how to get into the admin programming of it, then you go to the line programming and select the number of rings before the vmail system answers.

set the rings to "3", then the lines should ring 3 times on your phone, then on the 4th ring the vmail system will answer

Phone only rings for 2 secs before going to voicemail

View Voice Mail setup in you manual. Manuals are available online for read or download. Some VMail functions are Carrier specific. Look at info carrier included with your phone, or access your Vmail and you will hear an option for Vmail Setup. If these two steps don't work, call your carrier. This does sound like a carrier thing,

A caution regarding Hard Reseting your phone, this is a last resort to solving phone problems because a Hard Reset, as opposed to a Soft power off/on Reset, will default(set) your phone back to the state you received it from the mfg/carrier. ANYTHING you put/personalized on the phone is ERASED. This includes apps/settings/files/messages etc etc. Even if you have backedup your phone with a third party app, sometimes you will find your backup's won't work, or are a pain, to get your phone back to where it was when you did a Hard Reset. In addition, a Hard Reset is rarely your problem. It is usually a phone Setting, a phone Carrier,or defective phone(in which case it is worth trying a Hard Reset).

Depends on your vmail system and telephone system. If you have a cadence vmail or svmi-8, you must go into system programming on your telephone system and program the key on the phone.

Ring tone

I don't know your country code or vmail quickdial number but try this using those numbers where I say.
Oh firstly if your fone is a prepaid you may need to ring your provider and ask them to extend the ring time.if not this might work
Pls let me know if it does.
** (country code) * (vmail number)**30# and press call this should extend the ring tone to 30 secs.
remember country code & vmail number have to be actual numbers dont try to type in the words and brackets
