Question about LG AX390 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

LG AX390 phone does not ring, only vibrates

It is set to vibrate + high ringer but only vibrates when a call comes in. Also the screen shows "quiet" on left and "ignore" when a call comes in. Is it set to quiet somewhere? The caller can hear you but you can't hear them. And when putting on speaker phone, you can't hear the other person talking either.

My iphne 3 will only vibrate but not ring

If you're missing incoming phone calls due to your iPhone not ringing, you may have accidentally switched the ringer to vibrate or silent, according to Apple. The switch on the left side of the iPhone turns off the ringer and usually sets your phone to vibrate mode, but if your iPhone's vibrate setting is also disabled the phone will instead be set to silent mode. When in the phone's sound settings vibrate mode can be enabled, and the ringer volume of your phone is adjustable.

Can the jitterbug ringer be turned off?

You can set your phone to Vibrate or silent mode so that the phone vibrates rather than rings. With the phone on and open, look at the inside screen while adjusting the ringer volume using the rubber volume button on the outside of the phone. As you adjust the volume, the inside screen will display the ringer volume level. It ranges from Max to Vibrate. Simply turn it down until the level reads Vibrate.

I have a new LG200C cell phone that has been activated with TRACFONE. Problem: when dialing the LG200C from another phone, the the ringer is completely silent, even though I have put all volume settings on...

try pressing the * key for about 2 seconds (until it vibrates or beeps) that toggles between the normal ring settings and "manner mode" which is vibrate

then check menu - settings - sounds - volume
select Master volume and make sure it is not on silent
