Never repaired this one. But that does not mean I can't help you. My first thought is, this TV is being used by kids. You may want to see if there is an object that is stuck in the audio jack, if there is one. And if there is an audio jack, you can almost suspect there is a bad ground on the audio pin jack. That would have to be soldered. There may be a bad ground on a power resistor, a bad ground on the flyback or an open coil. And last note,would be an audio output IC is bad. These are good clues to help you with repairs. Hope this helps and thanks for asking!

After tv warms up, red colors/tones disappear


i have the same set. try bringing down the color temp, for that matter maybe even lower the rest of the settings too. sounds like a lamp replacement?

My big screen tv has almost completely lost it's volume. It's turned all the way up but you can hardly hear it. The remote works fine and the picture is great. Just lost most of the sound. What gives.


sounds like the amplifier board has gone bad. If you have an external home theatre, i suggest routing the audio through that, as the boards can be pricey
