II replace the hard drive in my sony vio all in one desktop, wil that correct all errors

It depends on the type of errors you are experiencing. Replacing the hard drive and reloading the operating system may resolve a great deal of software related problems, including issues with the operating system. And it will also resolve any hardware related issues that you had with the original hard drive. But replacing the drive won't help with other hardware related problems such as motherboard, ram, power supply and optical drive issues.

My Samsung M2 PORTABLE 750GB USB20 HARD DRIVE giveing me message says thei is a write delayed

This happens when there is a disconnect of the usb interface or if the drive stops spinning. You either have a failing hard drive a failing usb enclosure or a usb issue with your computer. First thing is to plug the drive in to another computer to determine if this is a usb issue. If the problem persists then it is the circuitry in the enclosure or the hard drive. You may be able to install the drive into a new enclosure and if it works that was the problem, if not than you have a failing hard drive.

Fix syncing issues?

Clean up System & Sync Issues Folder Microsoft's Disk Defragmenter, which is built into the operating system, makes computers run faster. It does this by reconfiguring where data is stored on the drive. This will speed up the hard drive and fix syncing issues.

Click "Start." Type "Disk Defragmenter" in the search bar. Left-click the result labeled "Disk Defragmenter." Click on the "C:" hard drive. Click "Defragment disk." The process will take several minutes to complete.

When I play Black ops it loads but never goes past the black screen after you press play game. I have an Xbox 360 white and I'm wondering is that the problem. When i took it to my uncles 360 it worked...

I have never heard this issue before. You probably have a lager issue then what can be resolved here and might face future issue in the future. Is this the only game you are having issues with?

Seeing that you mentioned you have purchased a hard drive then I would recommend you install the game to your hard drive and try play after that. This will resolve any issues possably of your disk drive possably getting hung up during gameplay.

follow these instructions to get your game installed on your hard drive:

Install Xbox 360 games on your hard drive from a game disc Note Installing an Xbox 360 game on a hard drive requires between 4 and 8 gigabytes (GB) of free disc space.
  1. Insert the game disc into the disc drive.

Note After you insert the disc, the default option is to automatically start the game. If the game starts, exit the game, and return to the Xbox Dashboard.

  2. From the Xbox Dashboard, go to My Xbox.
  3. Select the game you want to install.
  4. Press Y on your controller.
  5. Select Install to Hard Drive.

A progress indicator appears while your game is being installed on your hard drive.
Notes
  • Installing an Xbox 360 game might take several minutes.
  • Multidisc game? Install each disc to your hard drive.

How do I stop the constant noise from the hard drive activity light when it stays on while reading the hard drive?

- Hard drives are typically not noisy unless they are having problems. You can download utilities based on the brand of hard drive to check the health of the drive. Check the manufaturer's page.
- For all you know, this may not be a hard drive issue, it could be a fan issue as well which is close to the hard disk.
- In any case I would first recommend that you take a backup of your data before trying to fix anything.

TRYING TO RECOVER LAPTOP, GETTING THE ERROR MSG 10-FC 12-045D

Based on the information available online and the suggestions provided by the Computer Experts, the error might be occurring due to any issues with the Hard Drive of the Computer.

However, to confirm if the issue is related to the Hard Drive, please perform the steps mentioned below:

1) Turn OFF and turn ON the Computer.
2) Then, go to the BIOS Menu.
3) In the BIOS main menu, check if the Hard Drive is listed there.
4) If the Hard Drive is not listed in the BIOS main menu, please go to the "Boot" tab.
5) In the Boot tab, the Hard Drive should be mentioned along with the Hardware components of the Computer such as CD/DVD Drive etc.,
6) Check if the Hard Drive is listed on the BIOS main menu or the Boot tab.
7) If the Hard Drive is mentioned in the BIOS, this indicates that you can try some more troubleshooting steps, before getting the Hard Drive replaced.
8) If the Hard Drive is mentioned in the BIOS, you may try performing the Hardware Diagnostics.
9) The Hardware Diagnostics can be performed by using the Recovery Tools.
10) The Recovery Tools will pre-installed with all the OEM Computers.
11) For some Models, the Recovery Tools should also be supplied with the Recovery Discs.
12) Performing the Hardware Diagnostics will perform a complete scan for any errors or issues with the Hardware Components such as the Hard Drive, RAM etc.,
13) If there are any issues with the Hard Drive, RAM etc., they will be mentioned in the detailed report of the Hardware Diagnostics.
14) Once, the Hardware Diagnostics is complete, you may again try performing the Recovery.
15) If the issue still persists even after performing the Hardware Diagnostics, then the issue might be Hardware related.
16) The issue might be with the Hard Drive.
17) It would be better to replace the Hard Drive, if the issue still persists even after performing all the above steps.

Hope this helps.

Please feel free to ask further questions.

Hard drive and DMI issue

No, the DMI issue will remain. It has to do with the recovery operating system being linked to the machine's serial number. Purchase an operating system disc and that will take care of it. The only catch is that you will need to install some drivers for your machine after the install. All the drivers can be found at Toshiba's support site. Keep in mind that the hard drive not booting may be a hard drive failure in which the drive may need replaced, but just a new hard drive will not solve the DMI issue.
