Looks like the adaptive defrost board is a problem. The question is whether you had the correct replacement part. Best to confirm if the part shown on this link is what you have.

It could be a faulty defrost heating element or a bad terminal connection somewhere in the defrost wiring circuit. Make sure the doors seal properly. ie. no gaps between the door seals and the unit when the doors are closed. Door seal leaks can cause coil icing. If okay, the heating element is not working properly (heating up) during the defrost cycle. ie. The ice on the coils never melts off the evaporator coils.

Maytag mzd2665he side by side coils inside freezer have ice build up

The defrost relay may be the problem,it also coud be the defrost heating element, you will have to remove the back panel inside the freezer side and do a continuity check on heating element if that has continuity then element is good, then the relay which is located on the wiring loop to defrost element is probably bad.locate a replacemant part and replace relay and that should solve the ice on the coils.

2 year old Kenmore side by side refrigerator is too warm

the freezer feeds the refridgerator with cold air, when you open the freezer door,do you hear the fan blowing,if not you need to change the evap fan motor, next take out the second from bottom food bin and touch back wall,if you feel snow or ice you have a defrost problem, you'll have to take off back wall, advance the timer till it clicks into defrost and see if the heater comes on,if so you have a bad timer,if not read out the t-stat and the heater,if there are plug in wires on t-stat unplug them and bypass the t-stat by plugging t-stat wire to heater if heater comes on change t-stat,leave the heater on to help you defrost the ice off of evap coil and use hair dryer to melt ice, hope that helps

Have a freezer on bottom fridge that keeps freezing where the fan is

defrost not working check defrost t-stat, timer, or heating element.
find timer and rotate till compressor turns off; defrost should start and melt ice, if no melting then check defrost t-stat ( round disc located nead heating coil) if you remove it and jump around it will begin to heat normally. If so then do not leave it jumped!!!!!!!! Replace it and you're done!!!!!!

Frigidaire Refrig. Freezer is working fine but Refrig is not cooling. The unit is only 2 years old - Help

, you might have a defrost problem. Frost free models have a heating element that is controlled by a timer to automatically defrost ice, defrost timer turns on defrost heating element every 12 hours to melt ice in freezer and allow good air flow.
You can test defrost element with an ohm meter(located inside freezer coils-will have two wires going to a plug connection), if OK replace defrost timer (located in various places depending on make and model

Freezer is frosted in back Refrigerator is warm

The problem is the defrost system located behind the freezer back panel.

The defrost system (AKA evap. system) is composed by an heating coil, a fan , and a defrost thermostat, and its function is avoiding ice formation on coil.
When defrost system is defective the fridge wont cool down properly

In your fridge , either evaporator fan, thermostat or heating element is faulty, and the ice on coils is preventing the appliance from cooling down properly.

Depends, for the newer models, you can change the evap fan motor thru the front, but if you have the older model, then you have to remove the freezer housing, ice maker assy then the cover to change the evap fan motor.
