Question about Ricoh Aficio 250 Copier

I have recently move a Ricoh Aficio 250 from 1 location to another. Once I turn the copier on at the new location, a "Clear Misfeed(s)" message appears without giving a zone(s) (usually denoted by a letter) where the misfeed has occured. I have checked all of the zones and cannot find any problem. The machine will not work until the message is removed

If the copier worked fine before you moved it, you may have blown a fuse or damaged a board. Your best bet is to have a service technician take a look at the machine.

Before you call them, however, did you turn the machine off and unplug it, and did you open and close all of the doors and covers? It may just be a door that isn't closed all the way.

Ricoh Aficio CL3500N printer phantom misfeed


It seems that the sensor is having dust or toner settled upon it. Kindly remove the toner and clean the residual toner. Take a hard stock paper and give one copy command and push it while it tries to pull the paper. Paper misfeed is not the same as paper jam. Paper misfeed refers to the blank paper tray and paper jam refers to paper which has been taken from the tray and now inside the unit.

may need new feed roller and sep pad is the most common, there can be many reasons for it to misfeed from any tray.

MACHINE DO NOT COPY AND GIVE THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE: (A ZIGZAG SYMBOL) WITH "FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION"


Sounds like the 'Clear misfeed' symbol. Open the front cover and follow the pictorial diagram instructions to check your paper feed path for jammed paper. Remove misfeed, and close covers. This should reset your machine.

Error code SC 548 on Ricoh Aficio 1022 copier. Need to reset m/c


sc 548- service call - fusing unit not set properly
the fusing unit connector may be loose.
u can reset the error by entering the service mode (careful -do not change anything )
to enter the service mode press [all clear](yellow button) ,[1],[0],[7],[clear](orange button)and keep the button pressed for about 5 sec.
go in copier options , then mode 5, then option 810
and execute(or 1 & ok)

(careful -do not change anything else)

I have a Ricoh Aficio AP410N printer and it displays a message that says "remove misfeed internal path" error message. I checked the paper path and there is nothing there. I checked the manual and there...


Did you take out the toner cartridge and paper trays and open all the covers to try to find the misfeed? If there is really nothing there, you can try turning the printer off and back on to see if it clears itself.

Clean the sensors in this parts and try reset the SC codes:Enter in the SP mode press 5-810 (SC code reset)select 1.Then hold down the Photo mode key and the +key at the same time for at least 4 sec.
