You are in the Fixed decimal place mode.
To change back to a normal mode press the Shift button(top upper left bluish color) and ten the Mode button (top upper right)
You will get a list of items from 1 to 8.
press the 8 button which is normal.
It will ask which normal mode you want. The difference is how it display the output within a certain range of values.
The "1" will show an exponetial format for value beyond 2 so .005 would be 5X10-3.
I would choose mode 2 so that it will only show exponetial beyond -9

### How to round off 4,318

There are a few steps to rounding.

Identify the column that you are rounding.

Look to the digit immediately to the right.

If this digit is 5 or more, add 1 to the original column, otherwise don't add 1 to the original column.

Make numbers to the right of the original column 0.

Let's round this to the nearest 10s. The number immediately to the right is 8, so we add 1 to the 10s column and make the numbers to the right zeros. I get 4,320.

Good luck.

### What is 25,382,872,000 rounded to the nearest hundred thousand

When rounding, we always have to look at the number in the column one to the right of the column that we are rounding to. In this case, the hundred thousands column has the 8 in it. The column to the right has the 7. Since 7 is 5 or greater, we must add 1 to the 8 and set all columns to the right to 0. Thus, we should get
25, 382, 900,000.

### Estimate by rounding to the nearest hundred

118+146

Round 118 to the nearest hundred. Look at the number to the right of the hundreds column. If it is 5 or greater, add 1 to the hundreds column. If not, don't add 1 to the hundreds column. Make all columns to the right of the hundreds column 0. Since the number in the tens column is 1, we don't add 1 to the 1 and make the 1 and 8 zeros, so we get 100.

We do the same with 146. 4 is less than 5, so we just change the 4 and 6 to 0 and get 100.

We now add 100 and 100 and get our estimate of 200.

Good luck.

### How do i round a math problem??

put one number on top, the other one under that. Last figures (if one has more than the other) should be lined up.
Then start adding top and bottom on the left. 4+1 gives 5
then the second from the left 6+3 gives 9 then the thirty from the left 3+2 gives 5

231
364
----- +
595

when you have to ad 7+7 it will give 14. Write down the 4 and add 1 to the next sum.

You also can put more than 2 in the row, like

231
645
44
911
+----
1831

### I have a very round shaped face no matter how much weight I lose. What kind of hair style will suit me best?

If you have a round shaped face, you need a hairstyle that will lengthen your face rather than emphasize the roundness of it. If you have layers, put them at the top to add height but thinned out under the cheekbone line to give the impression of a narrower chin.

### Cover won't go on.round metal strip won't fit on round spindle that turns chain.E-235.Do I need the break bar?It doesn't line up either. DB

Sounds like the chain brake was set when you took the cover off. You need to disengage the chain brake (release it) so the round spindle will fit inside. Look for the two parts (one on cover, one on saw) that match up at the base of the chain brake. You won't be able to fit the whole cover on, but if you can line up where the metal triangular gear engages the chain brake, you can give it a snap to disengage it. What I have done in the past is to line up the two parts and push down on the top of the cover where they meet so as much of the gear is in the chain brake release as possible ( I put a knee on it ) and then give a snap to release it. Be careful though, because the cover part is plastic and you don't want to strip that part of the chain brake assembly. Good luck.

### What are the RPN keystrokes for the following problem: 8%+.9(12.2-5.2)+3%

The problem as written is not well-formed. The leading "8%" does not say "8% of what", and the "+3%" is ambiguous, so I assume the problem really is (( x + 8%) + .9 ( 12.2 - 5.2 )) + 3%, where x is a number entered before.

The resulting RPN key sequence is:
1. x [ENTER] --- giving a value for the 8% to operate on
2. 8 [%] [+] --- add the 8% to the previous value
3. .9 [ENTER] --- push the 0.9 to the stack
4. 12.2 [ENTER] 5.2 [-] --- evaluate the content of the brace
5. [x] --- multiply .9
6. [+] -- add the x + 8% and .9 ( 12.2 - 5.2 ) terms
7. 3 [%] [+] --- add three percent to the result from step 6.
In case you actually meant ( x + 8% ) + ( .9 ( 12.2 - 5.2 ) + 3% ) - note the difference in the position of the braces:
1. x [ENTER] --- giving a value for the 8% to operate on
2. 8 [%] [+] --- add the 8% to the previous value
3. .9 [ENTER] --- push the 0.9 to the stack
4. 12.2 [ENTER] 5.2 [-] --- evaluate the content of the brace
5. [x] --- multiply .9
6. 3 [%] [+] --- add three percent to the result from step 5.
7. [+] -- add the x + 8% and .9 ( 12.2 - 5.2 ) + 3% terms.
Note, the only difference is the reversed order of step 6 and 7.
