Remove the bottom of the unit, and if you look you'll see that the shaft has jumped the lockdown ,, a simpler problem could be that the hold up arm if engaged

My Aiwa px e860 record player arm is too heavy how do I adjust it?

If you put the maker and model number into Google you will find a service manual free for the make. That should help you sort out the problem. It's just a question of getting the weight at the other end of the arm adjusted right.

I am trying to play a record on my Aiwa LX-120 turntable but after scanning the record the arm won`t go down.

I'm not certain that you are meant to disengage the FG lock since this means that the turntable has achieved the correct speed. The problem you have is that the arm won't go down.
I don't know to much about the workings of this direct drive turntable. But I can say you can get the service manual free on-line if that helps.

I have Aiwa LX-D10 the arm will not travel or rise or lower, Can you help

Does the platter on the turntable turn? You should be able to make it swing out by hand operation of turning the platter.
If you can do that it's likely that the belt to the turntable is slack and needs replacement.

The ice maker is making a funny noise, with either the wire shutoff arm raised or lowered. It is not making any ice and the noise sounds like a croaking frog... Any help would be great. Thank...

You might have some ice stuck in the mold. Pour some hot water into the mold area with a turkey baster and see if this helps. Be sure to clean up any excess water in the mold area by soaking it up with dry paper towels. There should be no noise coming from the ice maker if it is off, so it's probable in a harvest mode.

Aiwa lx 70 turntable needle arm

This is not a solution but it is information. I just got one of these turntables and the platter rotates but the tonearm does not move. I took it apart after downloading the service manual and found that there are two small thin rubber belts that due to age have fallen apart and "melt" when you try to pick up the pieces. One controlled the sideways movement of the tonearm "carriage", the other controlled the lifting and lowering of the tonearm. The replacements are expensive (I think around $18 each) and in trying to pop loose a worm gear with a pulley buit into it, so that I could try a cheap rubber band out just to see if the unit would work with new bands, I broke the stiff plastic "retainer" that by its shape was designed to be pushed out of the way a bit to allow the worm gear to be removed. The service manual, by the way, had all sorts of information about how to make fine adjustments, but said nothing at all about how to replace the belts. Unless removed there was no way to put the replacement band in place over the gear/pulley combination because there was no exposed end to slip a complete band over. So I think it was a bad design, made worse by the aging of the components that made the bands melt and the plastic "keeper" brittle so that instead of flexing out the way it broke. So I'm going to recycle the components. I did not find any reviews to tell me how good a component unit this was, so before you hire a pro to try to fix this unit you need to figure out if it will be worth it to you in the long run. Anyway, good luck.

What is the bar or rod called that is on the drivers side hooked to the lower controll arm and goes towards the front it has bushings in it were it connects to the lower controll arm- thoes bushings are...

The rods that connect the K-member (subframe) to the lower control arms are called "strut rods". Your local auto parts store should carry the bushings.
